Yeah, admission of guilt is nice, but $1.6M is $1.6M. I don't think he'd get much more than that in a trial, plus you need to consider legal expenses.

Probono lawyers usually try to get 33% at least. But if they didn't litigate it for very long, they may have taken a smaller chunk.
