I've been to school, but haven't yet finished my BS, so I guess I'm a measly high-school grad.

I own a small company, and I'm in the upper levels of the salary ranges listed. I'm not posting the amount.

High school diploma, doing retail sales about 18k a year. I am in my first year of college working on my bachelors? lol who are the 4 trolls that selected hs diploma and $200000? Your either really lucky or just BSing.

self employment is one good way to eliminate the roadblock of not having a college degree. When you are your own boss, nobody will ask to see your degree.

Systems/Network Admin and I didn't even major CS (CounterStrike), Major in Economic &amp; Pol Sci
 
You ranging isn't very good. The most common range that probably includes 80% of people (50k - 100k) and you only break it into 2 separate choices. Yet you have 3 different ranges for over 100k, which probably includes less than 5% of the people.

Depends on the goal of the poll. If you want to get an even distribution, then you are right that the ranges aren't very good. But if you just want to know the general economic success of people with varying levels of education, the ranges are fine. There's not a huge difference in the standard of living between 50 and 75.
