I didn't always make this much.. thats last year and current year.. year before was 150, before that was 100.. so it wasn't like i hit the road doing 200k a year..

live in queens, flushing, live cheap, drive cheap car, save money.
EDIT:

I did recently purchase a 2 bed room condo in vegas, 10 min from the strip.. so there.. my bachelor pad.. ahahaha.

How about this. After 4 years of undergrad and 4 years of med school. I will be making ~$2000 more than I am right now as an EMT. Bringing the grand total to somewhere around $25,000.

You ranging isn't very good. The most common range that probably includes 80% of people (50k - 100k) and you only break it into 2 separate choices. Yet you have 3 different ranges for over 100k, which probably includes less than 5% of the people.

Depends on the goal of the poll. If you want to get an even distribution, then you are right that the ranges aren't very good. But if you just want to know the general economic success of people with varying levels of education, the ranges are fine. There's not a huge difference in the standard of living between 50 and 75.

Hmm, there's pretty big difference between making 50k and 75k. At 50k you're living with your parents or with a roommate and driving a Honda Civic. At 75k you have your own place can afford a fairly nice car and have some left over for gadgets and entertaintment.

54K - Systems Adminstrator 4 or Sr. System Administrator hate stupid levels...HS Diploma

Will increase once I get my degree I hope..

Funny thing is the more education you have, the less you tend to get paid.

Having a Ph.D. in a lot of fields is worse than having a masters.

Eh...not around here. Make $50k here and you drive a new car and own your own house. With $75k maybe you drive a little nicer car.

Making $50k and living with your parents with a beater car? Only if you live in one of those crazy coastal areas or are a loser.

Not sure what world you're living in, but the diff between 50k and 75k is also another tax bracket. The take-home difference is pretty good, but nowhere near as dramatic as you imply unless you buy a crappy house.

Not really any inbetween options, are there? 😛

I've got a HS Diploma and almost enough college credits to have an Associates degree in Avionics technology. Come to think of it, once I get my 5 level rating, I think I just need some match and english classes to get the degree. Have to check on that once I get my 5 level in a few months.

I'll be an E4 in the USAF next month, so my pay will go up a little bit. Approx 21k yearly, base pay only. 8.6k in BAH yearly for this area. 3k yearly for BAS. Roughly 30k total yearly. However, the BAH and BAS allowances are tax free, so I'm unsure how you'd convert them.

Computer engineer / Software configuration manager / Test engineer - F-16 and F-35 fighter jet programs at Northrop Grumman

$1 - $25000 - High School

Currently doing college and work. I am a Shift Supervisor at a store in an outlet.

Not much money, espically since its part time. I think I take home about $11k a year part time. (30 hours a week)

55k+ Industrial Engineer

Actual Titles: District Air Planner and District International Coordinator.

The salary is actually a bit low but being that I am only 4 monthes into the job (just graduated) I can't expect too much.
