DollarGeneral is pretty big around here. Any 'dollar store' is probably gonna be them or DollarTree. DollarGeneral is mostly crap. There's one near the office, and I stop in once in a blue moon, but aside from very basic shit, they don't have anything I want, and I don't find their prices all that great. DollarTree is removing everything that made them interesting. It's the same crap it always was, but now it costs more. Worse is the variable pricing. Inflation is a thing, and the dollar is becoming the new penny, but I like everything being the same price. I'd rather have a $2 store where everything's $2 than what they're doing.

Just got my $37 check for the class action suit against Facebook, honestly more than I was expecting it to be.

Fun facts:

* 37% of the entire world’s population uses Facebook monthly

* Facebook's worldwide average advertising revenue per user (ARPU) is $13.12; the ARPU for U.S. is $68.44 per user

* Facebook made $62.36 billion in profit last year; out of 193 U.N.-recognized countries, it would place #115, making it richer than 79 countries

Listening to ai music on youtube. It's the atmospheric stuff, and some come with idealized and fantastic settings that are fun to look at for a little bit. Other's have people/creatures playing instruments, and it bothers me to an unreasonable degree that the character is playing cello when no cello is being played, and when it is being played, the bow work and fingering doesn't match the music. Seems like something ai should be able to handle :^/

edit:
Just looked again, and he's sometimes bowing on and *below* the bridge. You can see it in my screenshot. C'mon people. Lets have some standards here :^D

Josh Johnson is one of my favorite comedians haha

Mine usually say something about the person, like how we know each other or what (primary) instrument they play.

I mean, it's AI music, can't expect high standards from people who generate music by typing in a prompt :p

Coffee prices are continuing upward. Wegmans is 41¢/oz when you buy the largest size. I think it was 37¢ at the beginning of the year. Worse, is my local groceryoutlet more or less stripped their shelves of coffee. They only have a small selection from RunningPump, whom they're partnered with, and a fuckload of shitty Kcups. Want to put a tariff on something, 100% on Kcups would be an excellent start. It's the worst way possible to make coffee, but it makes up for it through egregious waste of materials. That plastic isn't gonna generate itself!

Does anyone know how groceryoutlet works stock? Can stock be "borrowed", then sent back if it doesn't sell? They've had their shelves loaded with stuff, I figure "I'll have time to slowly stock up a week at a time", and the next week I go back, it's all gone. I know damned well they didn't sell it all. Back to the distributor?
