The context is HERE. This forum. Where exactly is this "the rampant hateful stereotyping of Muslims." HERE in this forum?

Ofcourse it includes it -what part of "I myself am disgusted by any hate spew directed to a general religious group.." did you not understand?

Ah yes, here's the bow we all know...:p Yes you "twit" - I'm saying that hate-spew against the Muslim religion is almost non-existent HERE.

Understand yet? or do I need to increase my font size for you to understand? Smaller/shorter words?

Yep, I understand just fine. You've moved beyond denial to full-blown delusional. Get well soon.

(BTW, there is no such word as "ofcourse". Just thought you might want to know that since you use it so often.)

Please show me where this "rampant hateful stereotyping of Muslims." in this forum.

tick tock tick tock tick tock...

Im pretty sure that anyone that had anything hateful to say about muslims was banned or warned about it long ago.

Exactly. But yet hate-spew towards other religions is somehow acceptable here. Whodda thunk it...

I was banned for telling someone to get a job.. Is having a job the same as race now? What if I told a Chistian to get a job.. would I be banned then, or would it be a wash since Christian bashing is accepted, but ripping people for not getting a job is not?

What about Gays? Is it acceptable to trash them in this forum because its a choice that gay people make? Can I refer to gays as durogatory slang words in this forum? If not, why is allowed against Christians?

And, since there is a rule against personal attacks, why are personal attacks directed at Christians not enforced? Is this like a math equation? 1 personal attack + 1 christian = 0 rules broken? Wait, that doesn't add up.. but it seems like the math that is being used here.

Attacking ones beliefs whether they be Religious or Political should be fair game. It's perfectly alright for you to attack Democrats for their beliefs or their actions. Same goes for Religions and those who follow them.

We are discussing this forum, and not the world as a whole. In this forum, Christians are most certainly NOT the ruling majority. And the reason I left the forums for a while was it was nothing but a whining bunch of crybabies who lost an election, I needed a break after the election.. I'm refreshed now and willing to go back to pointing out the fallacies of the left.

when you sh1t on people for as long as xtrians have, people stop feeling sorry for you once they wake up and realize they do not have to tolerate it any longer, that's just the way it is.

Cry a river to a people they have not victimized and suckered for a thousand years or so ok?

Good luck finding them hehe!

Attacking their beliefs or the way they portray them. You attack Conjur or Mcowen all the time as a loons. Well to some they come across as loons or at least extremists. People attack you for being an asshole. well face it, most of the time you are. You never try to debate anybody, you just belittle them and their beliefs. Unfortunately you aren't the only one, every single one of us do it to some extent. But for you to question the rules here and the enforcement of them is really disengenious since you are probably one of the worse offenders here.

If the same hatred were applied toward gays, lesbians, blacks, mexicans, etc, the people saying it would be banned in a heartbeat. I'm absolutely certain I could take a post made by some in these forums bashing religious folks, and simply replace the words 'fundamentalist' with 'gay', and I would be banned before my fingers left the keyboard.

Thats simply not right, and I think the OP is making a good point in saying that the generalizations and hatred needs to stop. Bigotry doesn't only apply to gays and minorities, it also applies to the majority, or a large group. Anandtech should not allow it toward ANY group.
There is certainly some truth in what you say, though I think you've grossly overstated it. More importantly, however, I suspect your "outrage" vanishes in a blink if I take your complaints and replace "Christianity" with "Islam". There are certainly many people here -- people on your end of the political spectrum -- who openly and entusiastically demonstrate religious hatred towards Muslims.

As for myself, I have no problem with Christians, including fundamentalists, as long as they are sincere and as long as they keep their beliefs to themselves. I have major problems with the hypocrites and the zealots who are determined to impose their beliefs on everyone else. Unfortunately, these are the very "Christians" who tend to be most visible and vocal, power- and money-hungry crooks who use religion as a smoke screen to mask their malfeasance.
Just wanted to point out that neither Crimson, nor any of the others* who blasted Christian stereotyping has stepped forward to be equally critical of hateful stereotyping of Muslims. I think that speaks volumes.

(*The sole exception, of course, is Sir CAD who used the opportunity to launch another of his trademark duhversions.)

Everything depends on whose ox is gored. To insult others is meaningless. To be insulted is outrageous.

The only people who are past this are people without ego. They are engaged in the task of pouring out infinite love.

There is nothing wrong with anybody. We are all the Image of God. Wouldn't it be nice to know it.

If you would actually try paying attention to my post you'd understand your attempted claim of hypocrisy doesn't hold up. There isn't "rampant hateful stereotyping of Muslims." here as you seem to want to claim. If you can show us where this "rampant hateful stereotyping of Muslims." is on this forum then you may have a small point - but you have decided to ignore/duhvert from trying to back up your claim instead of addressing it.
