That's a nice false dilemma that you created, but so very simpleton in nature. You finally admitted what I suspected all along. You are trying to pile on simply because of how long I've been here and how many posts I have. Nothing more and nothing less. I haven't been pretentious in the slightest -- a bit rude to those who responded without reading my replies -- but I was never pretentious. That, of course, is left for you. You took, what, an hour or so to reply? Trying to formulate a response with as much grandeur and esteem as you could conceive, but in the end you fall into the same type of fallibility that everyone has. You are - or at least you've become in this thread - exactly what you are preaching against. You say it is a dilemma for me to respond. No. I made the thread, so I will respond if I feel the need. However, it has to be becoming a dilemma for you. You speak of me having a childish id. What is more childish than playing a woefully conceived "I'm gonna get the last word game." That's what you are doing by creating false dilemmas for me.

Those threads that I posted showed that you are the pretentious one. In all of them you had a snarky comment or some type of pretentious babble to let run down your chin. This is a typical internet flamewar. No matter what I say or do you will take issue, and the OP of my post didn't matter. You are weak enough that you waited until you saw an opportunity. Now you and anyone else that didn't have balls are trying to gang-up. It doesn't scare me or bother me. I have the respect of the people I want respect from. you took offense to the wording i intentionally chose, just as many of the posters took offense to the wording you chose in your original pos (<-oh sh!t, look it's wordplay), and that which you continue to choose in your replies- if the mindless drivel you spew can be called that.

sorry, those lights blind people. they just do. people wouldn't flash you if they weren't being painfully blinded by them. it doesn't matter if they are auto-leveling. when you hit a bump, the beam flies up and blinds you, because all that focused light is now pointed right at your eye. HID's just plain suck for other drivers.

He obviously did want to go faster. Let those people by (as you did). It takes just a few seconds to pull over and let them by, and it's much better to have them in front of you than behind you with their road rage building...

Edit for full disclosure: I've been that guy before. I used to live on a windy mountain road. On weekdays, it was fine. All the locals would immediately pull over for each other when we saw someone behind us (I was far from the fastest).

But on weekends it was a nightmare. Bunch of tourists driving painfully slow, completely ignoring the turnouts. I wanted to kill them all. I didn't care if they were going over the speed limit, if I knew I could drive significantly faster and they were slowing me down and refused to move over, it really pissed me off. I did a less-than-safe passing manuever a few times (ashamed of it, hopefully I wouldn't do it again now that I'm older).

If someone is behind you, let them by. It's safer for everyone.
