1) If you think someone is doing something ban-worthy, bring it up in FI or PM a moderator. Posting blatant personal attacks (in a thread asking people not to flame/troll, no less) is not a good approach.
2) You started it by claiming that Keys and Rollo "continously (sic) post ATI bashing posts". Burden of proof lies with the accuser and all that. If you don't have any evidence to back this up, then you're just trolling.
Then it shouldn't be very hard to find some incriminating ban-worthy posts by either or both of them, now should it?
If you're going to sling personal attacks at other members and then refuse to back them up with more than handwaving and vague assertions of wrongdoing, then it's going to be the mods' problem.
This sort of stuff is a big part of why this forum has gotten so nasty lately. I'm getting pretty sick of it.
I have noticed that a lot of people that are not well liked here have changed their icons... An attempt to fool others who don't pay attention much to the boards?

LOL, that was funny though. But seriously, I have noticed others do that... It seems they get backlash from the community, lay low for a while and come back with a changed icon until it happens again.
I actually read these forums quite regularly for about a year or so before I started posting. I think rollo can be annoying at times, but to be fair he does use good sources to back up his arguments.

I'm waiting to purchase 1800xls in Crossfire- doesn't make me a complete and utter moron which is what it would take to not realize ATi is being smacked around like a red headed step child in every category right now. They are not competitive at all- period.

In the 9700/9800Pro years I used a 9700P/9800P 90% because it was the best card out, but defended the 5800/5900 as "not as bad as people say" because they weren't.
Occasionally I'd post something over the top like "5800U arrives, games cower" to hear BFG10K scream on the other side of the world, because he's my buddy and we kid each other like that.
Almost everything upto now in video cards has been paper launched, much better this round tho.

You are comparing a dual card solution to a single card
obviously SLId 7800GTX will be faster, duhTo really start comparing it to the NV30 you would also need the X1800XT to be cancelled (less than 100,000 produced) and an X1900 brought out with an overhauled architecture. This is not gonna happen.
There has to be sopmething done about the problem though.
I hardly see this kind of behaviour from other forums out there. (please dont say ...then move...)
Why dont we wait til monday for the ne NV card to be released to find out where everything stands in the universe.
But if we are all going by predictions then the market will be starting to settle with availability on all high end cards and the market will end up a lot like this.
Taking into account new 5.11 catalyst drivers and not the unbenchmarked nv drivers.

This is not taking into account price............ This is how i think the table will stand for at least a month. and i think that most people will agree. Yes ATI still does not have an answer to SLI but it will come and then we will all be arguing again.
The point i am trying to make is that there is an order in which cards perform.
If you are happy spending a great great deal for the best then get quad 512 GTX´s on monday with a quad supporting SLI board (you would be admired but then again you did spend around 3000 for playing games) if you want to spend less for a X1800XT then you can and you will get less, and so on and so forth.
What i dont get is that the X1800XT is placed between the 512 and 256mb GTX´s and people are willing to ignore the card even though it is there. if the card was called 512 GTX and the one above was called 512ultra would you still ignore it.??????????????????????Ofcourse not because all you boys and girls pointed out that the 6800GT was almost as good as the 6800 Ultra and cheaper.
I would like to come hear like in other forums and see people really being friends instead of bitter enemies. some people can afford some things whilst others can afford the world. we shouldent be so judgemental about this. we should be here to guide people to a good product and not annoy the living snot out of each other. I got suspended for a while because i got so fed up with some peoples attitude towards their superior uber machine.
I would like to be asked for my oppinion instead of being treated like crud because of the colour card in my computer.
The problem is serious because i dont know of it elsewhere and guess what all you zelots. YOU are all giving Anadtech a bad name. all you who are so anti toms for example could be manufacturing anti anand´s as you put your words in writing.

I don't want to join hands & sing or anything but it's good to have a place to connect with fellow enthusiasts. If we put less energy into fussing about which company is better at coning us out of our money maybe we could all get more bang for our bucks.

Hehe, kids. Video cards only started being 'launched' at all quite recently- the whole NDA until a certain date then mass media penetration is extremely fresh to the market- parts were not paper launched up until very recently.
They wouldn't remain OoS for weeks if it were simply very high demand.
And that means what exactly? You know when nVidia was taken seriously as a real player in the 3D market? When the TNT2 hit and they could best 3dfx's V2 running in SLI. The TNT was more then a match for a single V2 but that meant nothing- 3dfx had SLI and they wore the crown without a doubt. That is the same situation as now- ATi is not close to besting nVidia for top tier performance- they need x1K Crossfire out the door before they stand a chance.
What is going on with all the R580 news? If you can't see how this is shaping up to be a NV30 debacle I don't know what to say to you.
