I have built a nice hot tub up here, there is a nice view over all of the fort and the surrounds, the windmills powering our fort have a nice flp-flop-flop-flop-sound and cool my apartment ... and I have a really long pipe going to the moat with the liom cello ... 😀
 
DPAD's stats are getting in order, Seti@home is running well, the TAS-vote is not too bad at all, no problems with my comps (yet --- where are the spare parts --- ) so:

I know when to go read this thread because I keep track of how many posts there are in it, and I check to see if there are any more each time I refresh the page. I noticed there was a jump of 8, and I figured peter must be online. Scrolled down on my page, and sure enough his light is on...

Hmmm. I need to remember to archive this. I haven't done so in a while. (must posting a reminder of sorts for me).

Hopefully I'll notice this when I do the stats, and I'll do it then.

A new hard drive or laptop? Sorry to hear about the issues. I think the heat in laptops kills the hard drives so far--it seems to be a very common issue.

A new laptop - after my first laptop's 5 1/2 years of service sitting mainly on my desk, it's time for a replacement. Probably a dual-core something. Maybe even the first Guinea Pig for Vista Business in the company. As the IT guy, I'm probably the one to do it...😉
