I wish we had the grill here otherwise that definately what I'd have gone for, but alas it is in storage! I could have George Foremaned it but our stupid roommate made cheese burgers and decided it would be a GREAT idea to close the top to make the cheese cook faster...Yeah that was interesting! I told her she had to clean it, but she hasn't yet...Maybe I'll put it on her bed and she'll get the point! :evil:

Anyway I'm making stir fry for din-dins 😀
 
The reason for the laptop is the occasional foray out into the field. We have two other locations in different states and I sometimes travel. Also, rarely, I need to take the laptop out onto the plant floor and interface with a PLC or other machine control. I am actually excited about getting a new laptop for work. It's been more than 5 years now.
 
And while I have "played" with Vista on a development box, this will be the first full-time use of one on our network, accessing everything as I used too.
 
So it's been ordered, Turion X2 TL-60, 2 gig Ram, 80 gig SATA, 8X DVD combo. It should be more than powerful enough. My budget was $1500, and I came in well under.

I sem to have been incorrectly worried about my wife losing her top 5 position. It seems while there was a lot of posting, most of it was done by the top 4. And then there is the one person that actually changed rank this round, Rudy Toody, who went up two ranks. :beer: At one point I was 8 from catching peter, but then he went on a 10-count serial post, and left me in the dust. 😀
 
🙁 This is the second day I've come to work without my wedding ring. I can't find it. I took it off to eat a bag of popcorn at the house, and now I can't find my ring. Problem is that I was extremely tired while doing so and my memory is all fuzzy.

Hmmm. Time to find a lamp and interrogate the cats. I bet it was Jarvis.

Nice. The last time I was at something akin to the was Kilerwoche in Kiel, Germany. Nothing like seeing a country go to a city to have a good time. 😀
