Be aware that server/workstation motherboards often have a "footprint" that won't work in just any ATX case. I'm not positive what the depth of the Coolermasters is, but I can tell you that a Tyan Thunder-series board definitely wouldn't fit my Lian-Li. So check up on that if you have visions of dual-Opteron goodness dancing in your mind. 🙂 AFAIK the Antec PlusView1000 that I put in my wish list has the necessary space and clearance.
 
Is a Burger King Whopper worth buying, or grille your own? 😀 If you need a pre-built hamburger right away, get a Whopper. If you want the satisfaction of a home-grilled burger just exactly to your taste... 🙂
 
but, point noted. come on people, not a single soul from chicago? i will pay to have a system built since i dont have much time these days.

It takes about an hour at most to build it. That's if you've never done it before.
 
i did it once with my current system but had some technical issues, i don't think i have the patience anymore to do it.
 
The only thing I like about alienware systems is the casing, i was hoping if i could call alienware and just buy a kick ass for decoration !!🙂.

Any advice on nvidia quadro cards?

This is pretty much true for all 9600 series, they all suck for their price. A geforce 4 TI series card performs equally as well, and it can be bought for 40-60 dollars shipped here at Anandtech's very own F/S-Trade section. Ebay as well.

The 9600XT CAN be bought for 80 dollars. I saw one go just last week on the FS/Trade forums. These are people who are knowledgeable as to just how poor the performance/price ratio is for this card.

i have a geforce 4 ti card and a 9600xt and a 9800 pro
the geforce 4 ti card is sittin on the shelf,both the 9600xt and the 9800 pro
BLOW it out of the water.
