Playstation Home open beta to launch tomorrow.

Considering that it's going to be free, I kind of assume beta quality throughout its lifetime.

I guess I'm excited about it - I somehow never got into the betas, so I am rather interested in seeing it for the first time.
 
i could care less. i have a playstation to play games. not to dumb social networking stuff.

Very true!!! It is one big disappointment. Hopefully, it will get better with time.
 
From my very limited experience with the beta, it seems like it'd be a great way to meet new like-minded gamers, more so than what any other console has offered. I wouldn't call it extremely lame or pointless as our resident ATCG pessimist purbeast does, even though I don't see myself getting any bit of use out of it. Home is simply social networking, with a little bit of gaming content thrown in just to justify it's existence on the PS3.

If you don't like Myspace or Facebook, then you won't like Home.
 
its not bad...something to fool around with when you have some extra time. I much rather have this than Miitars
 
I been playing w/ the Home closed beta for about a month. It's alright, but I thought the user interface, specifically the menus can be better. I really like Sony's XMB, but Home's interface's too jammed pack.

Saw an article over at joystiq that said rumors are strong that a lot of the stuff you can "buy" in the closed beta of Home will not be available once the open beta launches tomorrow, so if you want it, you better get it now. I didn't even "play" Home long enough to know how the economy works.
 
I tried browsing through the mall in closed beta for furniture and stuff, but most stores are not available. Maybe I'll try again tonight.
