plaid shorts are back

I have two pairs now, I've considered getting more. When I first purchased them I had no idea what to wear with them. I recruited one of the girls at the store to help me pick out shirts that matched/looked good with them. I would have just used my girlfriend to pick out the shirts but she was out of town 🙁.

I like them a lot, the bottoms sit just around knee and I think they look great.

I wear the plaid shorts, reef/puma flipflops & t-shirt.

Nope. I'm still stylin in my jean shorts...

Do you happen to wear sandals with white socks and a t-shirt with a picture of a wolf to complete that ensemble?

I have a feeling he would still look like a badass with white socks and a wolf shirt on.

Lol. you guys are a riot.

ATOT definition of douchebag - Anyone who is more successful than them with the opposite sex and life in general

just because someone wears a pink shirt with a popped coller and plad shorts does not mean they fit that description of yours, a large number of them are failures

just as a large number of people who dont dress that way are sucessfull in life and the beadroom

not sure what you just said but ok!

LOL Anubis apparently can't spell worth a shit, or has three fingers on each hand that hinder his typing abilities.

that really isnt a new development, i figured anyone who had been here longer then a day had figured out that i 100% dont give a flying fuck if i spell things correctly on a stupid internet forum

Spelling is not where my confusion was...I just couldn't locate the point you were arguing. Heck I didn't even know it was an argument.......are you arguing something? See I really don't comprehend what it is you were saying.

i assumed you were refering to all those that said people with pink shirts and popped collers were Dbags, and were making the arguement that they were more successfull (the pink shirt people) then the people bashing them (at posters)

i was simple presenting that that most likely isnt the case

I would say the majority of atot (minus the women) dont really have a good fashion sense, typically IT types, quite a few older guys, no offense its just how it is.

Anyway, a lot of the plaid shorts do look quite stupid, I do own a pair of blue ones and frankly I like them with a white shirt or white polo, only pair I own though, they can definately look pretty ugly depending.

to match a shirt with them pretty much just pick out a color of any stripe and get a solid shirt to match that.

i have seen a guy trying to pull off a plaid shirt with plaid shorts, and that's just wrong.

Well we all know when bashing someone else 90% of the time its a refelction of something the basher has an issue with themselves. That said I wasn't referring specifically to pink polos and collar popping but more general throwing the douchebag term around is basically just screaming out your jealousy or insecurities on some level.

Yeah, I never wear the same material/pattern on my pants as I do on my shirts.

Maybe popular with the Old Navy cut-off crowd.

I very much dislike Old Navy. I know a lot of women who like it, but the Men's section sucks and they rarely ever have the size I need. And... I really don't like most of the clothes they have there.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, no they're not, maybe to the masses which have no fashion sense and are 10+ years behind anything in the fashion world.

exactly, the OP has to stop looking at 15 year old boys who eat up aeropostle and hollister's nasty ass shit.

if you want to see what adults are wearing, look into the NEW black gold line from Diesel.

What's so special about Diesel? I just checked out the link and the jeans didn't look bad on the first men's page, but the rest was meh. A pretentious red tee with "deep down inside(spelled backwards wow) and the rest on that page was ugly, especially those black pants. I bet they are expensive as hell as well.

I like that clever rebuttal about hollister alot but you blew it with the black gold line.

Nobody wears that shit. Its for skinny weak gay kids. I like nice clothes but that shit is wiggity whack.

I've got two pair that I have been wearing for the last 3 years.
Oh and I am 35. Wife likes them and they are comfortable, so I keep wearing them.

It's not GOOD if its not EXPENSIVE!!! Don't you know price of clothes is in direct proportion to its "cool" factor!!!??!!

LOL@ the black gold collection. WOW that shit was horrible looking, I could probably go to any thrift store and throw together similar outfits for 1/20 the price.

I hate plaid shorts. About 99% of them probably come from that one store that is the epitome of douchebag: Hollister. I wear nothing but khaki shorts, which I buy at Kohl's for much less than those plaid abominations.

woah that shits just wicked metrosexual... did you see the pants that were all slouchy and whatnot.... thats not "adult".... its kinda feminine

anyways, i like the plaid shorts
OCN has a pair that he didnt think i would even like and when he wore em around the house i thought they looked hot on him. hes 30, not in highschool and i think they look good. i bought him this shirt that says "indian burn champion" with like a little picture of an arm getting twisted to go with it. vintage type shirts look really good with plaid shorts. and flip flops.

thats the hotness right there

oh and btw, i do NOT like hollister and aeropastale.... if all of the clothes have to say the brand directly on the item, its GAY

Plaid is the in thing this summer. I was at an outlet mall in Williamsburg, VA this weekend and it seemed everyone under 30 was wearing this shorts.

I don't mind; I grew up during the seventies when mom's made us kids wear entire plaid suits for Easter.

However, I wish people would stop wearing flipflops everywhere, especially nice restaurants.
