Pizza Hut is inconsistent (at least what I see here in UAE). Sometimes it tastes so good. The bread is soft. The toppings are really nice. Every bite is orgasmic. But often the bread is too hard and you have to bite it off like a frickin' tiger chewing off raw meat.

Super inconsistent in Texas too though most of the time the pan pizza is undercooked. That 30% of the time when it's buttery and crispy though like 1990s Pizza Hut is amazing.

Yep. Every fast food pizza seems super doughy and undercooked these days. When I order pizza, I have the oven ready to go to finish the cook.

Guess I only notice it with Pizza Hut since that's the only place I ever order any kind of thick crust. If I get Dominos it's Brooklyn Style which is pretty thin and Costco is kind of thin too.

-Gawd damn put some foil on that pan! Easy way to keep your baking sheets in good shape for a long time.
What I heard is black pans work better. Dunno, but they certainly don't work any worse, so I don't worry about it. If it doesn't come off with a soapy rag, I leave it. Might not look as pretty as shiny steel, but they bake just fine.

there's this place PVMW+28 Šibenik, Croatia
they got what i can only describe as smoked bacon, but it's closer to a smoked lard, VERY smoked, when you fry it, it melts completely, it's absolutely divine, you feel like you are killing your arteries with every bite.

Chinese shops sometimes sell their own type of chinese bacon, it's unbelievable,

so when you guys say "yumm yumm canadian bacon" idkwtf you are talking about.

damn you internet and damn you ATOT. You made me spend six hundred bucks on charcuterie in the last 3 days.

I bought a 2.7kg spenish jamon from amazon because i was drunk.
Then i noticed that the ham is a slow delivery, and it will be here by the end of the month, so i bought another 2.5kg iberico that arrives today.

And then i just couldn't resist the cravings so i bought .. about 13 kilos of ham & salami from the croatian supplier.

pics will follow.

oh i forgot i also have 3 kilos of beef jerky coming this weekend .. THAT is why i had these unexplained cravings - because they delayed my shipment.

Well that's me sorted for food until August.

My mother in law is a British expat and is planning a visit home this summer. We could pay for the extra bag.

Customs would be fun.
What’s in the bag?
Nothing.
idk i mean, you could call them and say, i'm outside of your normal shipping area, but i want to buy X amount of cash' worth of food. I did that once with an italian shop and they were more than happy to help me.

OR, you could google food suppliers around you. Surely there's stockists of hams in all sort, shapes and sizes?

oh and by the way, the UK has finally found a way to get rid of all us immigrants.

You are no longer (since, like, last saturday) allowed to bring in, by hand, ANY food product from the EU, even if sealed.

No pecorino.
no guanciale.
no tasty tasty delicious salami or hams.

Flavor is banned in Britain, again?
