If it did cost $48 to run 5 days, that means you would be paying nearly $300 a month to run a computer. In 3 months, the electricity would cost more than the computer. 😱 Everyone would be running Pentium-M ULV's (5w max TDP)

You just gave me a flashback to a SNL PSA from the '90's about what to do during a pregnancy. Phil Hartman had a 'pregnant' Victoria Jackson doing all kinds of horrible things: heavy lifting using the belly as a platform, drinking, smoking, and eventually frying the fetus in a microwave mishap. Maybe someone's mom's sarcasm meter was broken that night...
