I have been shooting for several years. Just got into actually editing my photos using LR and PS. I still feel like I don't know what the hell I'm doing in these programs though lol.

With my XT. Lens used above each pic.

Mike, I check out your website every now and then. Your portraits are simply awesome. How much work goes into creating each shot? How many assistants (if any) do you shoot with?

I'm guessing you're a pro...?

Thanks! Usually it's MUA, model, assistant, and me, with hair and wardrobe if we can pull together a full team. Figure a couple hours for hair and makeup for a single look, maybe 15-30 minutes of actual shooting, an hour to edit it all down and make my picks, and retouching for anywhere from 30 minutes for something simple to a few hours for something that needs to be spotless.

Majority of my living comes from my other job but I'm working at it 😉

The 'studio' shots, are those at your in home studio or are you using some one elses?

Canon users either don't know how to read or have no attention span at all.

EDIT: I like the ladies virtuamike =D
Photography what?

Sorry, when I left the 20th century behind that included my 800x600 monitor. Welcome to the 21st man, we are now 9 years in.

Seriously though, I scaled that down from about 3000x2000. Lemme go fix it one more time.

EDIT: I just scaled it down to 1000 wide. You really cant grasp the awesomness of the pic when its that small, but whatever makes you happy. I have much bigger pics on my link, but looking at the view count it seems nobody gives a crap.
For reference, my monitor is 1920x1200, and thats not even close to the biggest.

Best $30 I ever spent. Bought a Canon Powershot A80 off ebay. $30. Sensor went bad. Sent to Canon. They replaced and cleaned the whole camera for free including shipping.
