Seriously, that LAN party sounds like a good idea. I was planning a trip to Reno later that
weekend, and since America West's hub is there, getting a flight out of Phoenix to Reno isn't hard.
Even if I do suck at all those games....
Woohoo! LAN Central is so big we have people flying in from all over the place just to game with us! Ok, but seriously, that would be awesome if you came in to town for this one. Thank god the computers are provided, I can only imagine the hell of trying to bring a full gaming rig on a plane. =)

I managed to take 2 systems (cases and monitors in cargo) on board a flgiht. I did get some odd looks from security though...
OK folks, yet another kicker. Barring any unforseen issues... we will be having two motherboards to give away at the event. one kt600 board, and one 875P (canterwood) board. Once this is 100% confirmed, and a couple other details are worked out, we will be posting the full story both here and on the news page of lan central.

Hah! Ye of little faith. Ok, well unless you're REALLY good, you wont have too much chance against Adul's brother in WarCraft, or Tribes (all verisons.) And I'm hoping for a little opposition in UT2K3, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Well, then again, I havent played for a while, so I *guess* it's possible for someone to beat me. =)
Anyway, win or lose, we're all gonna have one hell of a party, and if the sponsors keep rolling in we (well, you guys) will all walk away with some sort of new toy in your hands. Ah who cares, everyone will be too hyped up on caffeine to notice anything anyway!
Okey dokey, more sponsor news for good ol' Lan Central. Anandtech, yes, you read that right, is going to sponsor us! Evan is throwing us two shiny new motherboards to give away to you greedy gamers. One Abit KT600 board (KV7), and an AOpen Ax4C Max II will go to some lucky llamaat InSanity v4.0. I also just got positive word from Dremel, so hopefully our response back to them will be sufficient in getting the green light from them as well. That should keep all you case-modding freaks at bay. This in addition to some more appliques coming from the shattered web, and some nice mod items that Antec just shipped us.
