I'm glad to see that someone has heard of this game! I have personally never heard of it or played it in the past, but it definitely seems like something that is well worth a look. Diversions Entertainment will possibly be sending us some OMF:BG swag to pass out too, so for those of you who have been into gaming forever, this may be the blast from the past you're looking for (with some nice visual upgrades of course!)

Dang, One Must Fall?!?!?!?!?!??! Now i'm REALLY pissed that i can't make it for this... I used to play the original for hours on end... Changed a lot from it's 2D street fighter style roots though 🙂. Have fun at the lan guys.

The limited test version of OMF:BG *will* be left installed for a little while at LANGAMZ, so I suppose you could stroll on over sometime and play it then. It just won't be the same without you though! *sniffle* *sniffle* *tear*. Don't worry though, InSanity v4.0 is just one of many more LANs to come!

Awesome. I used to live in pittsburgh (for about a year) prior to living in harrisburg for the first 15 years of my life. Been in Phoenix since ~2000 and i never regret the move! Anyway, work is for mere mortals. Play is much more fun! Hope to see you there.

Well i have lived in Pittsburgh for 18 years of my life ( the thing basically )

As of now, i love it here... The heat isn't anything to sweat, no big deal...

I plan to attend.

Just outta curiosity (I'd go but I'm in so cal 🙁 Get one in SD and I'm there) would a 2000+ with 512megs of ram be enough for desert combat?
 
depends on your video card magomago. I had a pretty much identical setup to you with a 64mb ti4200 and it ran pretty dang well
at 1024x768. The only time i got really bad slowdown is if i went to the external view of a vehicle... for some reason the dust they kick up uses up a lotta video ram. If you have a 128mb ti4200 or better the game would run beautifully.
