I love their lemon scallops and the salt & pepper calamari is also quite good.
I like P.F. Changs.

People like chains for the consistency. Every local chinese food place near me is a hit or miss depending on the cooks mood. Sometimes, it downright disgusting and undercooked/cooked with old burned tasting oil.
Avoid places run by Chinese people. They will never throw anything out.
It just fell on the floor a little, it's still good, it's still good.
It's just a little overcooked, it's still good, it's still good.
The chicken is just a little bit raw on the inside, but it's still good, it's still good.
It's just been sitting under the heat lamp for 6 hours, it's still good, it's still good.
I can't remember who told me this, but always judge a place by looking at the bathroom. If their bathroom is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is probably clean as well. If the bathroom looks like something you would find in China or India, you can bet the kitchen is every bit as horrible and you're eating food that fell on the floor.
In NYC only eat at Chinese restaurants that Chinese eat at. Then you know its good.
PF Changs is good, but overpriced
Why does this place exist? Because one of us was in a rush, we unfortunately had to settle for it yesterday when we didn't want to wait an hour for Cheesecake Factory next door. So instead, we got into PF Changs with 9 people with no wait. That should've been our first clue. The $14/person dishes were equivalent to $5 take-out chinese food. The menu items were THE SAME as chinese take-out food and our 2nd mistake was presuming it would somehow be better - NO. If you have never had the misfortune of going to one, consider yourself lucky. We spent $155 on chinese take out. Apparently many others do too...

Also, PFchangs is the parent company of Pei Wei.
A friend and I went to PW a week ago. What a total disappointment (for me). My friend thought it was good while I could make much better at home.
The hell is the OP on. PF Change's lettuce wraps are completely insane. Each time I take a first bite it's like I've just been hit in the head by a sledgehammer of awesomeness.
Shows you there are lot of suckers out there with zero taste buds.
Anyway, I have been on a non chain restaurant kick for a while now, along with taking the time to properly cook at home. Fresh ingredients simply cannot be beat.
