Haha, my boss sent an e-mail to me and the other tech guy (he's been here for about two months) to go switch out the harddrives from one certain office to another.

He was pretty flustered when the computers blue screened on boot because the motherboards didn't match.

He didn't get that she was talking about the whole computer, he took it too literally. :)

I agree on the finger prints on the monitor. I hate that.

I disagree w/El Fenix :)Q) a first...I think. Putting a fan on a HS DOES make it active. Hence the fan. Passive heat sink is a fanless one. Active heat sink is a HS w/a fan. *awaits torrent of rebuttal*

the fan can't make the heat flow against the temperature gradient. if you open a window and turn on the ceiling fan you're not actively cooling anything. if you turn on your air conditioner you are. see the difference?

I like leaving it on, it makes me feel popular. It is also a very informative sound to inform you when you've successfully hit the enter key. :)

I hate when people have the sounds on in the dorms. Because everyone plays music, as loud as possible. So the AIM sounds come out at 4 million dB. So irritating.

Non-tech managers sending out emails about a virus scare that turns out to be a fake...

The last time someone did it, I hit "Reply to all" and said it was a fake with a link to MC Affee's site about the fake virus.

Haven't gotten any more from that particular idiot lately

Fix for your problem

Something that peeves me is people who think they need to have all music play at the highest base possible so it reverbs from the top apartment to the bottom. I mean seriously I don't need to know the terrorist just blew up De_Dust.

This doesn't get me but a lot of people hate it when people use the incorrect there, their and They're.

l33t 5p3ak is so passe to.

People that say download when they should say upload. People that use; edit: copy, edit: paste. People that use instant messengers instead of a phone, even worse when they talk about a conversation they had on one. People that get all pissy if you touch their monitor.

SO true. When I can hear every single friggin message you send/recieve and you don't even live in my hall, but across the quad, there is a serious problem.

Uh, it does............... :p

By default, there is a delay in the menus comming up. You can change it, but clicking is an easy way to get around it.
