People who recline their seats on airplanes w/o asking...

I used to fly across the US almost weekly for a few years (work related) and I flied long distance (20 + hours to Asia) before.

I never heard of 'ask before recline the seat'...lol.

If you don't like to seat in coach, pay up and move to business or first class.
 
Your anger is misdirected. You should be angry at your cheapness for being in the crap seats. I can't afford anything above economy class but I don't whine about someone reclining their seat. You could also direct your anger at the airlines for cramming so many seats on the plane.
 
I fly coach from USA to Asia al lthe time, company policy, and I have zero expectation that I need to request to lower my seat or that the person in front of me will ask the same.

I have had people complain to me when I have done so and I have told them to adress their complaints to the flight staff or the airline. If they dig their knees into my back, I get up and ask the flight staff to deal with it and then go back and sit down.

I paid for my seat and it has the option of reclining. Except during meals, if I wish to recline it, I will.
