I agree, but consoles are also an investment of sorts. You can wait a year or two, but I find myself behind on finishing games a lot, so I'd be fine getting just one or two games now, one or two more in 2014, then going from there. If I waited until Christmas (still a possibility), I'd have probably 4 or 5 games I wanted to play, plus a couple more out early in 2015, and I'd likely never catch up.

I have a solid PC (4670K and 32 GB of RAM, though I've yet to get a SSD), and my dad's going to give me a 290X towards the end of the year (bought a pair for LTC mining, and said I could have the second when it's no longer profitable/worth it to do because of difficulty), but I don't love competitive PC gaming. I use my desktop on a bed, so most of what I play is with a controller. Playing something like Titanfall on a bed or with a controller on PC would be a nightmare.

the only game i've been playing the past 2 months or so (other than titanfall for about a week then i sold it) is killer instinct. that alone is worth the price of admission of the xbox one to me.

Actually people have used the Ds4 on titanfall on pc and it wasn't bad at all. You do have to use this mapper but it works well. I'm used to the mouse and keyboard.

It is more about the issue of mouse-versus-joystick aiming, not comfort. I tried Black Ops (can't remember which) with a controller on PC once, just because...didn't go well.

I loved Street Fighter as a kid, but I'm terrible at fighting games and never play them now. For me, it's Halo that I want and love. That, and I can't stop mentioning how cool it is that David Tennant is in Kinect Sports Rivals. That's awesome.

wow i just re-read your quote that i quoted, and your part where you said "behind on finishing games" i read as "being on fighting games" lol. that's why i quoted you and replied with what i said heh. my bad.

Then I'll need a mini table and wireless mouse and keyboard. I'll think about it, still have time to do so. We are suppose to be getting pc footage soon just don't know when yet.

If you are debating what console to get, go based off of the games you like.

Just use a wireless controller for your PC. That is what I do and it works great.

yeah, i mean i'm literally only playing killer instinct on xbox1, and i play it probably 2 times a week for a few hours at a time. i told titanfall after as week. and with fulgore and lobbies coming out next week i can see me sticking to that for a while. i'm readly to see what is in store at e3. i hope we see some sort of arcade racer that isn't need for speed at e3. i would LOVE a new burnout game on the new consoles.

now that i have my 360 hooked back up for hbo go i might get around to playing south park too.

I've heard good things about that south park RPG.

I traded Titanfall in at best buy for $40 since the value was high still. I think I got $20 out of it, I wasn't getting $60 out of it. I can always grab a used copy later if some DLC comes and is really good. A new arcade racing game would be cool with me too now that you mention it. Easy to drop in and out as I feel like. Not requiring the dedication of something like Forza to master is a plus for sure. Can't wait to try Fulgore myself.

And I hate that Aim Assist.

Just saying...it is unavoidable on a console shooter for the most part. Honestly though...if you play the game you don't really notice it that much. I never noticed it in titanfall even after the developers said it was there.

Its pretty overpowered in plants vs zombies. You can keep clicking in and out of aim while firing and just peg your target.

In a thread about the ps4 and XB-one, why would you recommend a game that is on neither the ps4 or the XB-one?

probably because i mentioned it when i was talking about possibly playing it since there isn't much out to play on ps4 or xb1 right now.

Not sure about that in Titanfall, maybe I'll find out if/when I get it. However, it's SUUUUUPER-apparent in CoD and Halo. The only real time that occurs, though, is when two enemies are on your screen. If you're taking aim at a guy, then another runs across the screen, you'll have the instances where it drags your sight off of the guy you want for the guy who moved, and it's annoying. Maybe Titanfall doesn't do that...
