I'm not reading through the entire thread, so someone may have said this before.

Did the government go around and murder all the people that died on this flight? Or did they just dissapear? Their families certainly think they died.

well thanks for all your wonderful replies. Sorry it was a repost, but I simply could not be bothered to check.

Looks to me like it was a plane that hit the pentagon, although the guy did show some great flying skills when just a couple of feet of the ground.

Only one other quick question: Why were no fighter jets scrambled after the first, second or even third aircraft changed course and stopped responding to traffic controllers? again, I can't be bothered to check if anyone's already asked this. Sorry.

The OP reminds me of that one episode of South Park where that one state (Kansas?) was like five years behind the rest of the country (jamming to Ace of Base and stuff like that).
Dude, were you in a coma for the past few years or something? Not to mention it is just golden that you can't be bothered to do some reading on your own in regards to this.

I find it funny that you believed that it was a missile, but never considered the point about the passengers until your friend presented it to you. It sounds like you thought about this *real* well.

dude...a friggen skyscraper fell down with the planes after they had burned in their own fuel for a while

what do you think?:p

Hearing from people who helped clean up that mess, it sounds like there weren't many large pieces of anything that were recovered. When people were looking for bodies, they said that that wasn't likely at all, since the biggest bits they could find were fingers, bits of skin, hair, etc. Also, the concrete was pulverized into powder. Most of the wreckage you saw at the site were just from the top few floors. The rest were smashed, scraped, ground, and compressed into oblivion.

So other than the pieces of aircraft that fell to the ground after the initial impact, most of the plane will be ground into bits too small to identify.

I've found that many young people just haven't formed a sturdy grip on reality. Many have, but the rest just haven't come around yet. Then again, some adults never seem to develop common sense either.

I find it amusing when people come up with a harebrained idea that is based on no other fact than their distrust of the government. Therefore it's a nebulous, grand conspiracy.

I also find it amusing when people use the term "free-thinking" in place of "stupid".

I vote that we adopt your little conspiracy theory.

Half those people who made comments about it sounding like a missle prollie have never been near a live missle or experience a live missle to be able to distinguish between plane and missle...

another thing... have u ever heard turbines they sound a lot like missles depending on where u are hearing the sound....

And the people who died (who were on the plane) were real people... some of them were my patients...

Conspiracy theorists sometimes think too much... they like to fabricate possibilities out of fragments of ambiguous observations. No hardcore evidence... etc...

-TH

The problem people have is not necessarily it was a missile but not a plane either due to lack of debris. Also I find such a missle expert as yourself wouldn't have made the common misspelling of it almost a half dozen times.

Also on to your crafting things with no hardcore evidence....this whole incident has very little hardcore evidence and most people are buying into the story that was originally presented as venacular. Psychologically this is how many people form their beliefs, even when contrary information is later presented.

i hate peepul hoo are so aynel over spelling in messageboards... it sure helps prove a point ur trying to make by bringing out my spelling errors

Also, thanks for pointing that out Capt. Obvious ... if u dint notice, my post is in response to why some assumptions (whether psychologically thats how many ppl form their beliefs or not) are just rediculous... conspiracy theorists in general are hypocrits (especially those who criticize the situation we are in now) who employ the same techniques they criticize... they play on fear and the lack of not knowing the truth and use that to spread uneccessary unrest to the rest of the people... ie assumption --> myth

What do we gain out of this? Pointing out how vulnerable or distrusting our government is? For Chrissakes if you (and am not talking about you personally alkemyst <oh wait did i spell that right?> am talking about the people who spread or help spread rumors) feel so strongly about the government and feel so unsafe living here then LEAVE! goto Canada, Australia.... i mean wtf why live here thinking that the government is hiding something and they are against you...

The linked flash takes candid quotes from people and try to use it as "evidence" or "further prove" that the person being quoted (just because they have a title) knows what they are saying and is making a professional statement.... its the likes of Michael Moore doing adlib clips to try to prove his point...

"OMFG I thought we were getting attacked by aliens.. I head missles and explosions... oh wait... its July 4th..."

And no am not a missle expert but neither are those people who are making false assumptions of missles... at least I come close to experiencing the similarity of the sounds first hand.
Cliffs:

1. make ur point, dont waste time pointing out spelling errors
2. whats the overall benefit of spreading rumors or speculations
3. if ppl are so paranoid and bent on the way the government is working... LEAVE!
4. its 4th of July, I hear missles everywhere what shoudl i do?

You still haven't answered my question, do you think Lee Oswalt assassinated Kennedy and acted alone?

hmmm thats funny. Since my job revolves around assembling facts and problem solving.

The facts in this case are flimsy. Plane wrecks usually leave more mess so the obvious conclusion would be it wasnt a plane. Common sense also tells me that decisive videos of the plane as it approached would have been released at the very least to provide a stronger case for the airplane theory. These videos never surfaced. Common sense tells me there are more questions than answers which is why common sense tells me not to believe one side or the other until im presented with something irrefutable.

[/quote]

1. Get a different job
2. What you think is common sense are merely assumptions
... you assume that plane wrecks leave more mass
(btw i may be wrong... but this is the first time a plane was hijacked and used as a weapon... you could argue that plane one hit the first tower.. so during that timeframe, we all learned everything we needed to know about planes to disprove the fact that the Pentagon crash was not plane related...)
... you assume that there is video footage for everything
(leading to further assumptions that that the Pentagon is made out of the same materials everyother building is made of)
Your common sense is clearly blocking out all evidence presented that if a plane smacked you on your face you wouldnt even know what hit you.

Gigapet, do you have any backround in aviation, physics, explosive devices, fire, or structual engeneering? If not, I kindly suggest you shut the fvck up as you have NO idea what you are talking about. Same goes for all you other retards talking about fuel burning for days or "no large pieces" found.

everyone knows planes vaporize when they crash

Yeah, so true that. And once in a movie I saw a spaceship blow up a whole city into a bajillion pieces when a green flashlight was beaming on it. Of course this movie was made back in the 50's when they had much better alien technology.

You can see the plane in one of the videos of it crashing into the pentagon. It's going extremely fast, and you only get 2 frames of it. The camera is one of those cameras that takes a still photograph every second or 2.

what about the other side of the story? is AA missing a 757? that'd be kind of hard to hide to any private citizens that had a ticket for that flight.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that the Pentagon only has a Logitech webcam as their lone security camera. I think I read something about the Senate appropriations commitee discussing a request for $750 for 5 of those new, 1 megapixel webcams so they can now cover all 5 sides of the buuilding, in high res. I hope they approve it.

Fact Of The Day (FOTD): Did you know that even if the twin towers didn't collapse following the crash and fires, the damage would have likely been too extensive to fix safely, so they would have to be torn down anyway ? such a demolition project would have cost big $$$ and would have been a dangerous undertaking.......

It wasn't a pentagon camera. It was a camera from a gas station.

Now I REALLY hope they get those 5 webcams if they don't have any at the moment!
