Interesting to hear a perspective from China. Are you Chinese or an expat? Are you yourself religious? I'd be interested to hear what the Christian experience is in China (as much as can be said, of course.)
Im an expat. The experience is different throughout china. Some places are really strict while others are alot more lax. In any case i have not noticed any welcoming of any religion, much less those shared by foreignors. But many of the Chinese are becoming more interested.

Do you see any influence in China by Pat Robertson's group?

China is a very productive Nation. There is correct thinking in China about energy and how to produce massive quantities of it. I like the coal production and the move toward more oil. Here in America, we have a class of people that are using college education as a religious weapon to dismantle the great industrial complex that Americans built.

Thank you.

I read that and now have a better grip on the fountain that your beliefs spring from.

I see it as a Gandhi style of belief.

If you act like a wise man, you will receive the results of a wise man.

Are you really this inept? Were was it Christ traveled to when he was young? You preach false teachings of Christ , Yet you haven't a clue.

What about the Three wisemen of the fairy tail birth of Christ. Stop reading Pauls BS on Christ and read what Christ said GOUL . Christ said many things that were GANDHI in nature . Have you every read or tryed to read anything said to be written by the other True Apostles . Peter or Mary mag. Your so stuck on what ROME created in that black book your blind to the world around you. When Christ said the Path was Narrow to the gates of heaven . I don't recall him saying anything other there than TRUETH will set you free . YOU don't have to worship a religion or a Building but the trueth .

Trueth is and of itself only one thing . THE TRUETH . You have uttered nothing but false teachings and lies.

I am done with this topic as the OP has brought a trueth to light and the darkness that would try to detract that trueth. Being Yourself.

Pat Robertson is and Fred Felps are actually good Christians. The bible is full of hate and bigotry and these two follow it to the T.

I would not say that is the fountain from which my beliefs spring. As I said, 'my beliefs' the experience that came from a flip in consciousness from total introversion to awareness of the presence of my being' came to me only when I had not only let go of belief, but of the need for any belief. I died and awoke in grace, that is all. I don't know anything except that if you lose all you have you may find an infinite gift, a god of love who is within.

The god I found does not belong to me. It looks to me like he is in the heart of every man and the one true thing we all yearn for.

But if God is the core of our being then everywhere and in everything he will appear. The Indian will find him in the clouds, the wolf and the thunderstorm. The monk will find him in God, the fakir on a bed of nails, and the Yogi in the mind. God can be seen anywhere because God is the light of the eye. As Meister Eckhart said, the eye with which I see God is the same eye with which He sees me.

Here are some other things he said:

A human being has so many skins inside, covering the depths of the heart. We know so many things, but we don't know ourselves! Why, thirty or forty skins or hides, as thick and hard as an ox's or bear's, cover the soul. Go into your own ground and learn to know yourself there.
Meister Eckhart

M: The words sound exactly like what happened to me.

A just person is one who is conformed and transformed into justice.
Meister Eckhart

M: Always this transformation thingi

All God wants of man is a peaceful heart.
Meister Eckhart

M: The greatest swordsman and warrior never draws his sword, eh?

Do exactly what you would do if you felt most secure.
Meister Eckhart

M: A warrior for God, does he not lack faith?

Every creature is a word of God.
Meister Eckhart

M: That would be those who correct and are corrected in word, no?

God expects but one thing of you, and that is that you should come out of yourself in so far as you are a created being made and let God be God in you.
Meister Eckhart

M: Is not the perfected man the Son of God, or as I would say the Sun of God.

God is at home, it's we who have gone out for a walk.
Meister Eckhart

M: Why losing everything you have isn't a bad idea. When you lose your shoes, your cane, your compass and your map, you have to stay home.

He who would be serene and pure needs but one thing, detachment.
Meister Eckhart

M: I know no greater detachment than non-belief and knowing nothing.

If God gave the soul his whole creation she would not be filled thereby but only with himself.
Meister Eckhart

M: Because only being ones true self makes you whole. All else is pouring from the empty into the void.

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.
Meister Eckhart

M: Every day I forget this and create my own misery.

Man goes far away or near but God never goes far-off; he is always standing close at hand, and even if he cannot stay within he goes no further than the door.
Meister Eckhart

M: We were born in God with God potential. It's what is when all that can be taken is taken.

One person who has mastered life is better than a thousand persons who have mastered only the contents of books, but no one can get anything out of life without God.
Meister Eckhart

M: Let us not deny that to others however it is they come to God.

Only the hand that erases can write the true thing.
Meister Eckhart

M: The Zen Master fills only the empty cup.

The knower and the known are one. Simple people imagine that they should see God as if he stood there and they here. This is not so. God and I, we are one in knowledge.
Meister Eckhart

M: Seems like knowledge isn't knowing stuff but awakening to the deepest self.

The more we have the less we own.
Meister Eckhart

M: God happens to the meek because they are nothing.

The outward man is the swinging door; the inner man is the still hinge.
Meister Eckhart

M: Believing in the false self manifest differently than the manifestation of those who know their true nature. I would say it's why Christ pulls on millions. Some of the power of his transformation can still be felt in writings about Him.

The outward work will never be puny if the inward work is great.
Meister Eckhart

M: I would assume as much.

The price of inaction is far greater than the cost of making a mistake.
Meister Eckhart

M: In the sea (of the inner self) there are riches beyond compare, but if you seek safety it is on the shore. Self hate makes the self the last place anybody would look for God. We hate God because He is who we are.

There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.

M: Here here!

Moonie since your intent on bringing Trueth into this Topic, I thought I would reply with some Christian Trueth

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egfc2k2mZ24

Here is same but words so you might read them or if you like sing along, Very good feelings its brings to ones self

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUuEICFm2yA&feature=related

If you check out Meister Eckhart in WIKI you will see that he was a Christian religious leader.

Interestingly, he is seen as all sorts of other things too. Well that is how it is with the transformed. It is all just one truth spoken of in different ways.

I like this line from the article:

In Jacob's Ladder, Louis, the main character's friend, quotes Eckart: "You know what he [Eckart] said? The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of your life; your memories, your attachments. They burn 'em all away. But they're not punishing you, he said. They're freeing your soul. ... If you're frightened of dying and holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth".

So true that message . To live one must let go. But its hard as our history shows and are history is shaped by evil men who won't let go like PAT and sheepo who blindly follow. He takes in millions and gives little of that so that the spot light shines on himself rather than putting the Light were it should be .

Just joking, I never did acid.

I'm not spreading a message. I'm here to defend Pat.

What do you think of the stats I posted regarding the giving to the poor Pat has done?

Here is just one example. There are many more in his topic. You have lied so much in this topic you wouldn't know trueth if it struck you down.
================================================================================================================================================
My mission is business. I was raised a Catholic but didn’t accept Christ until my late teens.

That should make you more humble, recognizing how short you fall of perfection, not more arrogant and able to accuse others of fault.

Remember where we are. My purpose here is different that yours. You show them Christ’s kindness and I’ll show them his power.

I believe that many people are looking for is a path to victory. We are going to need warriors in the days ahead. These warriors will most likely come form the camp of the Heathen.

I have linked the Liberals/Democrats/Heathens because of the issue of abortion. Get that wrong, and it’s likely your group is wrong on every single other thing. Am I wrong?

We are nearing the time when you and me will be leaving this Earth, for a short time. You win the nice people, I will offer the Heathen warriors a chance to join an army that will never be defeated.

I thought you were the brother of Jesus, the son of God, and a warrior. Show us a little warrioring.

As to Pat's stats: If Robertson didn't exist, people would donate the money elsewhere. Given the choice between giving to Pat and giving to the Red Cross, why on earth would anyone give to Pat?
