I wouldn't be surprised if 99% of politicians in several governments would not be involved in similar things, if they are top end.

It might sound cynical, but it is just reality these days.

Well Trump has at least one connection to this, his properties are being used for real estate laundering.

Marcos Pereira Lombardi, who runs a newspaper, as well as several other businesses in Brasília, said he set up an offshore for estate-tax benefits. He spent $2.7 million on two condos at Trump Towers I and II in Sunny Isles Beach and said he pays all his taxes in Brazil and the United States.

“I bought these properties in Miami because it was a business opportunity, as prices in Florida were very attractive,” he wrote in an email. “I love Miami and the United States, so I chose to invest here.”

Lombardi, known as “Marcola,” has been investigated in Brazil for allegedly getting an insider deal on government land and conspiring to fix gas prices, charges he denies.

He bought one Trump Tower unit through a Florida company that listed him as its manager and another under his own name.

I read somewhere, where the late, deposed dictator of the Philippines, et al, is involved in some way. Ferdinand Marcos' son is running for VP in the Phils. I thought the family was in exile, but apparently not.

How would chaos in both political parties help our country? (also, is the Republican Party not already in chaos?) It's hard to see any major political problem that the US has solved by having a presidential frontrunner or two get knocked off, but I can certainly see plenty of situations where it makes things worse.

I just don't get the whole wishing for chaos thing. It seems like a fit of pique.

It's important to understand that such arrangements are not illegal for American citizens provided they're square with the IRS & aren't using it to conceal assets in a legal proceeding like a divorce or bankruptcy.

It can be a bug out bag for rich people. You know, for when the Revolution comes. It can be a lot of things.
