one of the points made in one of the comments sections you linked BMW really struck a chord with me.

John McCain and Sarah Palin are playing with fire. In both examples above (and who knows how many examples that go unreported) the crowds that McCain and Palin are attracting are feeding off of this disdain for Obama in particular and liberalism in general. One guy even went so far as to yell out "Kill him!" in a public place among a sympathetic crowd. People, this is not healthy, and it will only get worse.

You know, we often blame video games or television for some of the crazy stuff kids do these days. This is no different. McCain and Palin are riling up a group of people that just might teeter over the edge and start some real violence in this world.

What happens if violence breaks out in polling places?

violent demonstrations on election day?

heaven forbid someone tries to take out Obama or Biden!

calling half of America "UnAmerican" 'Unpatriotic" "Terrorist Pals" or "America Haters" is so irresponsible, Palin and McCain are both playing with fire.

Hmm.... maybe they figured they can't just sit on this any more if they want to keep attempting to claim journalistic impartiality.... :p

Why don't you call out other partisan news organizations?

Oh yea, it doesn't fit in with your "ideology" to do so...

Uhhh... I posted this because I was surprised they actually did more than other "news" channels seem to be doing on this story.

You said it better than I. Both sides might be getting so riled up that violence could be the next step.

How is that good for anyone after the election? How are they going to reach across the aisle when the animosity/hate is so great?

McCain has repeatedly defended abortion clinic bombers:

? Voting against making anti-choice violence a federal crime. As the Jed Report notes, McCain voted in 1993 and 1994 against making ?bombings, arson and blockades at abortion clinics, and shootings and threats of violence against doctors and nurses who perform abortions? federal crimes.

? Opposing Colorado?s ?Bubble Law.? McCain said he opposed Colorado?s ?Bubble Law,? which prohibited abortion protesters from getting within 8 feet of women entering clinics [Denver Post, 2/27/00]. The law was later upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.

? Voting to allow those fined for violence at clinics to avoid penalties by declaring bankruptcy. NARAL Pro-Chioce America notes that McCain ?voted to allow perpetrators of violence or harassment at reproductive-health clinics to avoid paying the fines assessed against them for their illegal acts by declaring bankruptcy.?

I'm sure some in here would consider such violence "justified".

I notice you didn't have a defense for Ayers' group trying to blow up a nine-year old boy in his bed. But I guess that was okay back in your day, right? Anything to stop 'nam . . .

Who's defending that? Ayers isn't running for president. Obama said Ayers and the WU acts in the 60s were detestable.

Seriously, state your point. Concisely, sans sarcasm and rhetoric. Is your point that Obama knows this guy and therefore is complicit somehow?

They'e just desperate because McCain is going down in flames when it comes to the issues. Even Newt Gingrich says he's going to get his ass creamed.

Irrelevant and useless, but since you asked, I was opposed to the war in Vietnam at the time, but I didn't go around plotting to blow up buildings, and I didn't advocate violence of any kind.

I notice you haven't managed to establish ANY link between Obama at the tender age of eight to the anything the Weather Underground did. I notice you haven't been able to establish ANY link that remotely suggests Obama has done anything in his entire life that would suggest he approves of what they did decades ago or that the only casual association between Obama and Ayres has anything to do with any form of terrorism.

If you have facts and proof that prove Obama was involved in terrorism, post 'em. If not, grow up, grow a pair, and stop the bullshit.

I kind of wish obama was muslim. That would be cool. This is america, and all, where ANYONE should be able to become president regardless of race or religion. The muslim religion is quite beautiful in many ways and as true patriotic americans we should embrace a muslim man as much as we worship our non-religious celebrities.

Stop being obtuse.

No one is suggesting that Obama at age 8 had anything to do with Bill Ayers. It's the fact that he associated with him when he was adult, as well as the fact that Ayers is unreprentant for his crimes. The only reason Ayers is even free is because of a legal screw-up akin to what happened to OJ.

If McCain had gone to fundraisers at the home of Ted Kascynski 12 years ago, you and every other partisan democrat would be screaming bloody murder.

No but he took contributions from Charles Keating and even went on vacations on Keatings dime. If you are going to hold Obama accountable for serving in local politics with Ayers then you should hold McCain accountable for having a close friendship with a felonious swindler and fraud.

Only because you say so.

Duh, didn't you know that if you got away with something then you didn't do anything wrong? And if you did, the statute of limitations on it is like what...1 year, then you're considered a good guy. Bonus points if you become a professor, that means you're definitely a good guy!

He could be a good guy now but whether he is or not has no bearing on Obama.

Exept he isn't a good guy now. He's still not "sorry" for what he did back then and BHO either knew and didn't care or is/was too inept to know he was holding a fund raiser in the living room of a terrorist.

The issue seems to be about his character and judgement. Which either way, BHO gets docked points for. Now I know you on the left want to make this about "pals" but it really gets away from the issue at hand here. But I suppose a person could have fund raises in a person's home and not be a "pal". I suppose a person could sit on 2 separate boards with that same person and not be a "pal" ...... and on and on... But really - there is too much here for it to be dismissed as a random acquaintance.
LOL, it's not as if he went on vacation with him like McCain did with Charles Keating or helped him commit those crimes like McCain did with Keating.

That's a nice duhversion attempt but also a very poor strawman. Aren't you BHO and Ayers/terrorist apologists tired of getting your fists full of straw yet?

Pot. Kettle. Black.

Obama is filthy not just with Ayers but a whole cadre of anti-American loons, racists etc. Only a real Kool-Aid drinker or an ignorant person could defend Obama from Ayers - he launched a campaign from his house and they worked looney program together with Annenberg funding. McCain was cleared in Keating but John Glenn was accused in Keating too and he stumps for Obama campaign and just introduced Springsteen at a rally for Obama. Obama is guaranteed weirdo that the media has protected.

False, as reported by NPR.

The rest of your post is just your usual foamy mouthed insane ranting.
