Pakistani troops retake naval base from militants

how do six militants take over a military base
Obviously they were American commandos disguised as Taliban Militants to try to drive a wedge between the peace loving Taliban and the Western Puppets of Pakistan's government.

😉

Now i get it! that was some of the Seal team that got left behind and worked thier way towards a boat to escape...this should be a TV movie! after all, how did they all get out on one helicopter if they came in two!

I also thing there is a foreign hand in this. Security analysts say that the Taliban would have nothing to gain by attacking a naval base. The navy has not been conducting any operations against them, nor are the destroyed orion 3C surveillance aircraft going to to be used against them. They could have chosen other, softer targets and caused more damage and panic.

It's obviously bad reporting. The did not "take over" the base, they infiltrated it and destroyed 3 aircraft.

A team of 10 to 15 militants armed with rocket launchers, AK-47s and hand grenades stormed the Mehran Naval Station late Sunday, destroyed two U.S.-supplied maritime surveillance aircraft at the base and then engaged Pakistani navy commandos and soldiers in a pitched firefight that ended late Monday afternoon.

It's still better than the most powerful army in the world getting their stolen tanks run rampage:

He stole an unarmed low-level tank from a national guard facility as a former soldier himself. A dozen militants stormed an active naval facility, blew things up, and kept everybody busy for a day with shooting. Nope, no comparison at all! 🙄

If terrorists can buy off the Pakistanis then the USA can do it better. I'd bet good money most of the commanders of the nuclear sites are ready to hand those nukes to the USA on a silver platter (eg, a few radars break down, nukes ordered to be "relocated") if enough money and maybe a one way plane tick flow their way.

I watched a documentary on the Mumbai attack. The guards/security had simple rifles against the Pakistani terrorist who had assault weapons. They were scared and out gunned. I would even go as far as to say that the Indians are naive to the very nature of violence. Sure both of these countries cut peoples heads off and beat women. But when it comes to war, they are completely inept.

The most dangerous fighters seems to be the Taliban. Which seems odd, but look at the evidence. The Pakinstani military had no idea where Bin Laden was. Had no idea the US flew into their country. And now they lost a base to 6 kids with AKs. Is there no doubt that Pakistan is weak? Canada thinks their military is pathetic!

The really outrageous thing is that Pakistan is just pumping out the nuclear bombs. Make no mistake Pakistan, if fucked up with the nuclear bombs your country will be forfeited.

Can someone help me out here, how do six militants take over a military base? Is this just bad reporting?? were they using aimbots!?? help me out!

There were supposedly 15-20 militants. event then, this is an incident that should worry every sane nation in the world. Especially India. If these terrorist scumbags get a hold of their nukes, even one, WW3 would be imminent.

Are you this fucking dense you sack of shit? Did you learn that at your bible-thumping boy-humping shit-hole school?

Your worthless ancestors were running around naked murdering each other when Indians were discovering the nature of reality. Read a book and get an education you inbred moron.

India split Pakistan in half in 4 days in the 1971 war. Indian air-force also handed the US air-force its ass on a platter at Operation Red Flag at Nellis in 2008; with subpar equipment too. Kind of like how IITs compete with harvard/mit when they have 1/1000th the funding.

And, you should be ashamed of denigrating the brave commandos who fought the terrorists in 2008. The local police had to deal with them for almost a day before the Army was called in. Then, 9 out of 10 of the terrorists were shot dead and the last one was captured alive. The Indian military is the 2nd largest military (by service members) in the world.

As Mark Twain said, "India is, the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand mother of tradition. our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."

By whom? It would be India that erases Pakistan from the map if any nukes were to go off in the neighborhood. America keeps feeding the Pakistanis with fighter jets and billions in aid. America sent its navy in the 1971 war against India in support of PakSHITstan. You forgot that Indira Gandhi gave Nixon the middle finger and went ahead and liberated Bangladesh? 4 days son. 4 fucking days. that's all it took for the Indian jawans (warriors) to liberate the Bangladeshis. The US Navy, with its tail between its legs, beat a hasty retreat from the Bay of Bengal.

Talk is cheap. India's military is one of the most powerful on the planet.

I'm Indian myself and to think the Indian military is the most powerful military in the world is about as retarded as the pakistanis that think their country isn't a shithole.

This thread is getting way out of topic, how did 10 people infiltrate one of the highly militarized camps in Pakistan and almost take control of it? and do we have to worry about the same with nuclear installations there?
