Big cats are evolved and designed to kill, gorillas are not; if they were they would have documentation of wild to captive casualties of S.B's killing something formidable, but theres nothing, the gorilla would put up little no resistance since he comprimises of defence and has litte ferocity to show historicaly; while the lion would play the offence and can kill the Gorilla in more ways then vice versa...he wouldent be able to break anything of the lions anatomy since the lion is stronger by feats alone, let alone has the same bone densen'st of Alaskan brown bears, takling animals that dwarf the S.B 2-10x fold.

300-400; are the average gorillas weights and 500 is the largest of the large, while for lions its 400-550 are the averages and 600 is the larger ones, even in captivity a 600 pound gorllia would be deem'd obese and rare, while a 600-700 pound lion in captivity is quite common, not to mention in the wild no gorilla went past the 600's while the lion has toped in at 690. In individual photos a silver back can look opposing, more muscular and robust, but if shown side by side, the lion would be almost twice the size in over-all mass and if both were standing on there hind legs the lion on average would tower over the gorilla by nearly 3 feet.

Show me a Silver back killing anything...through out a thousand years worth of documentation of numerous ways...show me a Gorilla killing any animal thats formidable.
