In the case of this particular cartoon, your explanation doesn't really make any sense. Why would a guy from Nairobi bother to make a stupid Anglo "joke" using Engrish like that? I think that it's just a misspelling.

I see. I'm not familiar with the site and didn't realize the cartoonist was from Nairobi. FTR, I thought it was funny and wasn't criticizing the assumed Engrish...I thought it was great...because it was a bit startling 😀

It's a good site with stuff from a lot of countries and various political/social points of view.
