Yeah they do. When I worked security at China Lake we had a hard time getting the things because there wasnt enough money in the budget.

Logically smacked down twice before I even got a chance to see it. Go P&N go.Seems like a pretty bad idea considering those things are starchy and high on calories for soldiers with high metabolisms operating in the field. For sedate civilians it would only worsen the obesity epidemic and raise the costs of healthcare to taxpayers. Though certainly I can appreciate the need for shaming the poor. That'll teach em'.
Somewhere along the line the contract specs for MREs were loosened so today's MRE's are way worse than those made ten-fifteen years ago. The trick is to get the halal or kosher MREs.
