Ridiculous. Someone needs to buy that idiot out, get a non profit going for stewardship. Looks like he could use some money.

I wonder how old those 70 other trees were. Makes me think of when I heard about the Sycamore Gap tree on Hadrian's Wall getting cut down. That tree was only ~200 years old too. They caught the two twats that did it at least. I just don't even get how someone could entertain the thought of cutting down a 900 year old tree. Unless it's mortally affected by something, leave it. The fuck. Alone.
