...and frankly, I can't remember feeling this disheartened over my fellow countrymen. What a wake up call. I know there's more than a few here who will howl partisan over this (go ahead, I don't care, you're wrong) but I think this movie and Richard Clarke's Against All Enemies should be required reading/viewing before Nov 2. I must say that after finishing Clarke's book, I grudgingly have more respect for Clinton. The typical conservative rhetoric on liberals being 'weenies' no longer holds any weight with me.
I digress. I would have preferred the movie to be more in line with an investigative reporting special, a al 20/20 or Dateline, as the dramatic music and editting kind of got to me, but there was just no ignoring the plain facts that piece laid out, particulary as the majority of it came straight from FOX footage. The parts on the typical repug talking points and Bill O'Reilly were just priceless. The commentary from former FOX journalists was particulary damning I thought.
Since I was a young teen, I've always thought of FOX news as pretty lame, using dubious language, anything but 'fair and balanced,' and always prone to overloading the screen with ultra-patriotic imagery and themes. Now FOX has about as much credibility with me as pravda.
