A lone vote of dissent here, I thought PST was overrated. It had very high production values, the voice work was fantastic, a good story, but it was just a game about running errands. All you do is go here to get this for this guy, then go there to get that for that guy. I know that RPGs aren't about combat, but at least give me some, and even though I love RPGs, but this ain't in my top 10. But I give PST major props, and I can see why so many people like it.
But don't get me started on Baldur's Gate. My brother bought that after all the rave reviews and tried it, hated it, gave it to my other brother. He tried it, hated it, gave it to me. I tried it, hated it, and it's been sitting on the shelf ever since (all 3 of us are huge RPG fans....and huge nerds.....). Total play time between the 3 of us is under 10 hours...it was that bad. I personally know about 10 people who have played Baldur's Gate, and exactly zero liked it. I have no idea how that game sold more than 20 copies. Fallout 1&2 were fantastic though.
I guess I should add that I encourage everyone to try them for this price. It's way too low to pass up if you haven't played them yet.
