Early season losses should count JUST AS MUCH as a late season loss plain and simple. A loss if a fvcking loss. Teams shouldnt be punished for losing late in the season. Whats funny is, if OU lost to Texas Tech, and beat Kansas State, no one would question anything. A loss is a fvcking loss for christs sake, and yes a loss to a fvcking scrub patsy sorry ass 6 loss Pac 10 team is worse than a loss to a 3 loss #15 team. It doesnt matter the score. Everyone always says, thats why the play the game. Yeah and for christs sake for the final time a LOSS IS A MOTHER FVCKING LOSS, shouldnt matter when it comes. OU is still the best team in college football, and USC whiners will be served a plate full of crow when Michigan hands them their over rated asses.
you're wrong in saying that a loss is still a loss... it's completely different when ONE PLAY could have changed the outcome of the game (USC beating CAL) and when you've got an entire game of total domination (KState over OU)... USC could have easily done one different play to be CAL, they'd be undefeated and in the nat'l campionship (by the way, i hate USC, i think they're overrated and they suck and don't deserve to be ranked so high.. but you can't argue with an undefeated team in a BCS conference, yes i know they're not undefeated, i'm just saying they could be easily).. same with LSU, a few different plays and they'd be undefeated.. meanwhile, OU, who hasn't played anybody all season (don't give me that UT crap either, they lost to Arkansas) gets blown out when they finally play a half-decent team, and they still deserve to be in the nat'l championship? "we shouldnt punish them for losing late in the season".. why not? every other team gets punished for losing... why shouldn't OU.. you tell me ONE instance this season, when a big game loser dropped less than one spot in the BCS rankings in the week following the loss's rankings... yet that's what you expect from OU because "they're the best team, no matter what".. well whoop-de-doo.. let's jump on the commentator bandwagon, that's what they've been saying all season about OU.. about how they're "unstoppable" and "the best college football team ever"... blah blah blah.. and they get whooped up on in their own conference championship game... i'm sorry, but any team that can't even claim the title to their conference, does not even DESERVE a shot at the national championship....
edited to get rid of all the quotes...
