We saw this a couple years ago when Oregon got screwed so Nebraska (who didn't win their conference) could go have the pleasure of getting their asses handed to them by Miami. Such a screwed up system :|

Then again, I'm not 1/10th of the college fans you guys are so I could be way off...

No, you are correct. This why the BCS is BS.

Every system but a playoff system is BS. But I still have no doubts that OU would beat either LSU or USC. You cant judge them by one game, even if its late in the season. USC lost to Cal for christs sake.

And hell, Kansas State lost to Marshall. Then OU just lost to Kansas State. How does ANY of it make sense.

exactly

u hit it right on the head

this moron complaing about Cal beating USC needs to shut up for good

Okay Mr USC fan whos team played freaking NO ONE, or importance besides Washington St. Losing to Cal while having a EASY schedule. Lets see a loss to a patsy unranked team, or a loss to a #15 team. Hmmmm. Or better yet, USC played more patsies than OU, or LSU. hell might have played more than both combined.

USC has been overanked all season. LSU has been under ranked all season. OU should not be punished for losing late in the season. And know what, they wont. OU should still be in the Sugar Bowl, if Boise State wins, LSU will meet them their for an LSU home game. Where LSU will get spanked. While USC gets spanked hardcore by Michigan.

If LSU loses to OU, and USC loses to Michigan everyone better shut the fvck up.

Yes we know the BCS is fvcked. But OU IMHO is still the team to beat for the title.

Heh, so is the Hawaii and Boise game being televised? Even if Hawaii loses I still think it will be impossible to predict what's going to happen tomorrow when they release the bowl selections.

Well Texas should be in the Cotton Bowl. Either that or the Alamo Bowl. Hope for the Cotton Bowl.

If you want a BCS bowl then UT better get a new coach. Mack can't win the big one....all that talent Texas has....damn they should be playing for a national championship on a regular basis. Mack just can't get it done....look at his record at NC and Texas...no conference championship...no national championship...he's a great recruiter but a so so coach.

OU is still the team to beat? Did you watch the game tonight? USC may have lost to Cal, but they didn't get blown out - wasn't it an OT loss? LSU's loss was also a close game - I'm sorry, but if you have to pick 2 teams out of the three one loss teams, I'm taking the 2 teams that didn't get blown out in their loss......Big 12 and Pac 10 are comparable conferences anyway - Auburn is better than anyone OU played non-conference, and Notre Dame, as avg as they are, is as good as anyone OU played out of their conference as well. N.Texas? Did USC play anyone that bad?

Cal, unranked, patsy. K-State, ranked #15. OU is still the better team, they still have a better offense, and a better defense, hell much better. Yeah its safe to say USC fans are gonna be pissed. Hopefully their loss to Michigan in the Rose Bowl will shut the fvckers up.

I agree completely, but UT has allready invested alot in him. I doubt we will see him go for at least a couple more years. Its bullshit...but I can't do anything about it.

I hope we dont goto the Cotton Bowl....ugh....thats where we went last year.....

The PAC 10 is the weakest of the major ones on an annual basis(Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, Big East).

With exception of 3 teams, Baylor, Kansas, and Iowa St, any team in the big 12 can beat any other big 12 team on any given weekend, because the big 12 is the toughest conference. They beat eachother up and the title game doesnt help matters. But the greedy schools like the $13million pay out.

The PAC 10 is by far the weakest of the major ones on an annual basis(Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, Big East).

Agreed.

who exactly has OU played

OU played 4 teams with losing records

USC played 5 teams with loosing records

USC lost EARLIER in hte season by 3 points

OU lost in the last game, and got spanked

OU beat 3 ranked teams

USC beat 2

watz ur point

i dont see how you can discount a total spanking and give more importance to a 3 point loss to a lower ranked team much earlier on

and dont bring in margin of victory usc has scored just as many points

theere is NO way OU is not going to the sugar bowl. they had such a significant lead over any team in the bcs that it just is not going to happen.

OU vs USC BLOWOUT even though ou lost, i dont know how much they cared about this game due to the fact that it had no impact upon their season. its just gunna suck to be at practice tomorrow morning for them.

yeah USC lost to Cal, an unranked patsy 6 LOSS Team. Thats a much worse loss than a loss to a #15 3 loss team. Losing late in the season shouldnt be a penalty in and of its self. Now if OU lost to an unranked patsy team late in the season I might agree.

Face it, Boise State is going own Hawaii. OU will be ranked #2 in the BCS, LSU #1. USC #3, and USC will go on an get their asses spanked by Michigan. LSU and USC will lose their bowl games, and that should quite the bitching.

lost by 3 points in 3 ovetimes means more to u than a 28 point blow out by a team claiming to have the best offense and defense in the nation, gimem a break
