this game is over...and I think this domination will drop OU to #3 in the polls, which should put USC and LSU in the sugar bowl.....

Yep. I kind of hope OU puts something together so that they won't drop so far in the polls. I'd love to see Texas denied a BCS berth. :D

Dont be to sure. The two human polls are the key. The computers, SoS, and quality wins are on their sides. It depends how far they drop in the human polls realitiscally they probably wont drop far enough to be knocked out of the title game.

As much as I like to see OU lose, I really hope they don't play Michigan in the Rose Bowl - I have a feeling that Michigan's offense can't overcome OU's iron curtain.

Uh no. The Big 12 Championship game has had many upsets, that have caused #1 or #2 teams to be knocked out of title contention.

All the BCS experts though, those that know the system(not sports writers), feel that even with a loss, OU is still going to the Sugar. All though likely as the #2 team.

i have a question

how much does the time of loss count

USC (yes lost of cal, but much earlier in the season) and have a 7-8 winning streak, LSU same lost to florida earlier in the season, again a decent winning streak

OU last game of regular seaosn on national tv

does that stuff effect voters

You cant judge a team by one game. Doing so is stupid. OU still has one of the top 5 defenses in the country. LSU is in the top 10 as well.

Well, the fact that right now its a 35-7 spanking affects voters...

It effects the human polls, it doesnt have that big of impact on the computers. OU, shouldnt be effect all that much in the computers. It will come down to the two human poll. I personally dont think they should drop below two loss teams. But realistically they really shouldnt be ranked lower than 6 in each of the human polls, and that might just still allow them to be the #2 in the BCS, with USC #3, and LSU #1(who would've thought).

Only in the human polls, and they are still a 1 loss team. How many 2 loss teams are voters going to rank higher than them? The computers shouldnt be effected. OU still has an extremely good shot at the Sugar even with the spanking.

I think there's an excellent chance they'll be 4th in the human polls, behind Michigan. That still might get them in the title game.
