SCOTUS hearing for the Cook termination is not going well. Some wild arguments from Sauer. Adam Klasfeld and others have a good running recap of the hearing. It's worth reading.

At the rate things are going the solicitor general is going to be in the electric chair by the end of this.

People making these disingenuous arguments should be flogged out of public life.

The very notion that Congress can't set up rules for how agencies and whatnot operate and how people can be hired/fired is actually anti-constitutional and runs completely counter to the country's history.

Well I think that most of the conservatives on the court are indeed receptive to this idea with the exception of the Fed. Again I suspect executive power ends where their investment accounts begin.

Oh, by the way....

The Justice Department alerted a federal judge in Maryland that members of the Department of Government Efficiency working with the Social Security Administration may have misused data it obtained from that agency.
"may have", LOL.

Can't wait until May when Trump's Fed Chair Goon slashes interest rates to 1 or 2 percent

This economy is going to implode at some point this year.

Yeah I don't know if the Senate will approve someone they even get a hint will do something like that. They've openly warned him about removing Powell.

Please sir, your faith in the Republican party is cute, but really, at this point? Give me a break.

As far as Trump being senile and delusional Trump was this far gone during the campaign. But neither the mainstream media nor the failure of an opposition party focused on it and put it in the forefront. Both the mainstream media and the opposition partiy are complicit in not doing their jobs and helping Trump 2.0 happen

Move over Zelenskyy for Trump has found some else who is not grateful:

'President Trump said in Davos on Wednesday that Canada should be "grateful" to the U.S. for the "freebies" it receives because of the two nations' relationship.
.
.
Trump said Carney "wasn't so grateful" in his address.
.
.
.'
He could really show us by not buying our oil, minerals, lumber.... the list goes on... since we are so ungrateful.
