From what I saw from an immigration attorney, he unfortunately still had a drug conviction for dealing (?) when he was 19, which is basically an automatic exclusion for compassionate reconsideration of his case. Thanks War on Drugs!

Californian here. My Prop 50 ballot is in the mail.

I voted against the initial redistricting initiative... 20+ ish years ago (?)... for exactly the reason I'm voting to dismantle it.

If everyone isn't going to independently redistrict (or just go to a national popular vote so everyone's vote counts) then there is no point in CA tying it's hands behind its back.

Took longer to get to the nightmare scenario than I imagined it would under the Bush regime but here we are.
