The problem with the raid in Georgia is it hi-lights the issue:
America: We allow 'legal' workers.
SK: Ok we need 500 visa for legal workers.

This is basically the problem with how the GOP govern. They campaign on platitudes and sound bites that gets their base gassed up, but when it comes to the actual implementation, they always fail to consider the nuances, logistics, feasibility, etc of whatever approach they come up with.
