I stumbled on this an hour ago, didn't see anyone mentioning it here. Trump posted an AI video of Obama getting arrested. Call me old-fashioned, woke or whatever you want. But I don't think the president of the United States should be doing shit like this. I understand he's doing his damnedest to distract people from thinking about Epstein list. But this seems too much. I know he thinks Obama should be arrested. And from what I'm seeing, his cult for sure believes the Obama tampering with the 2016 election "story" is 100% real. All the "proof" they need was 1 tweet saying it happened. It's wild how with all the proof in the world they still don't believe anything bad about Trump, but need no proof to believe a lie about Obama or Biden.

Our president shouldn't be posting AI videos showing a former president getting arrested. And I found a month of his Big Macs calories worth of irony that the video starts out showing Obama saying "nobody's above the law." Trump's the last person who should be complaining about somebody being above the law.
Pretty disgusting. But what do you expect from a fascist pig.
He's trying to deflect from hi epstein troubles.

He may not live long anyway with his venous insufficiency problem, unless there's reliable treatment available for that.

Poor whiny trump is throwing another tantrum that would do a 5 year old proud !

Every single thing Trump thinks and does is filtered through his narcissism, his racism and his very vulnerable inferiority complex that his compensative megalomania tries to suppress. He has to repeatedly lie because his insecurities provokes his visions of grandeur and sense of self-aggrandizement. He pervasively describes what he feels and sees with overt extravagance.

He indulges in excessive verbiage whether it be describing his enemies or his sycophants and it all ends up with him storytelling tall tales of evil establishmentarians witch hunting him and Biden, Obama and Hillary spreading hoax trash talk about Russia Russia Russia and Epstein Epstein Epstein.

He duels with the truth and facts about him by projecting it all back on his accusers and detractors, by simply stating outright lies as facts with the aplomb of an aged cow chewing its cud. His attacks on his critics are the same tactical strategies that most little girls employ when they've learned how to gossip.

And yet despite all of that, millions of folks thought it'd be a really swell idea to give Trump another whack at dismantling democracy, the nemesis of every oligarch's dream of treating the taxes we pay for our gov't services as their own discretionary expense account.

They are saying nobody has seen anything like it. The most beautiful numbers ever.

A lot of people voted for Trump 2019 prices which is what he promised and are getting the tariff otaku/ deregulator so that consumers can get more soaked/stripping healthcare from 10M people to pay for rich people tax cuts guy.

America first is what he says but Israel first is what he means.

Trump administration withdraws from UNESCO again, only 2 years after US rejoined

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The Trump administration announced Tuesday that it will once again withdraw from the U.N. cultural agency UNESCO, an expected move that has the U.S. further retreating from international organizations.

The decision to pull U.S. funding and participation from UNESCO comes two years after the Biden administration rejoined following a controversial, five-year absence that began during President Donald Trump’s first term. The White House cited similar concerns as it did in 2018, saying it believes U.S. involvement is not in its national interest and accusing the agency of promoting anti-Israel speech.

Every day, more is taken away. Sense of safety. Optimism. Faith in institutions. Respect for science. Belief in the American dream; in a multicultural America; in a welcoming, dynamic, ever improving America. Belief in American justice. Belief in a can do America. Every day we watch Trump and his minions tear the fabric of this country apart and tell us it’s honey. Trump will leave office rich and MAGA-beloved no matter what he does because, to them, he is God sent. There is fear everywhere. Fear that makes us carry our passports and birth certificates everywhere. Fear that has us prepare go bags, emergency boxes, and power packs like never before. Being the only non-white face in a room used to be normal, not scary, a challenge, okay. Now it’s a time to check for exits, look for the strategic places to sit or stand, to even more carefully decide if one’s words are worth speaking or not, and to time one’s exit. Fear is everywhere.

Kind of crazy considering the handicap the media treats the Trump administration with.

It really is remarkable that he managed to do this just half way through the first year. And it’s about to get so so much worse.

What a brutal honeymoon this has been.

Wow, that's... an impressive drop.
Consumers aren't yet feeling the full force of rising inflation. Unless TACO, imported goods will only get more expensive over weeks and months ahead.

But being underwater on approval ratings means jack shit to DJT and GQP sycophants, as they don't care about the electorate anyway (much less what Dems and independents think). They have near carte blanche to wreak havoc until the midterms.

The only thing that could check Trump's worst impulses is if the stock market takes a big dive. That's one thing that he actually cares about and thinks he's totally responsible for. 🤣

across the board as voters get a look at actual Trump policy the reaction is generally: this is billshit

His immigration numbers are getting dragged down finally due to people seeing what “mass deportation” actually looks like in practice via masked goons.

Beijing traps US govt worker as dozens of Americans can't escape China...
China denied on Tuesday that it is doing anything wrong as it reportedly prevents "dozens" of Americans from leaving the country under an "exit ban" policy, including at least one U.S. government official.

In other words...
China takes dozens of Americans hostage.

Does anyone think POTUS or MAGA cares?
I wonder if this is not just a mirror of ICE capturing Chinese citizens.
But not to worry. Stable genius has made the whole world love and respect us again.

I have a co-worker who had been planning a trip to Japan, I asked him about it today and he is no longer keen on the idea in the immediate future and wishes he'd done it last year.

I suppose we should coin a phrase for this kind of graph. I’m calling it “The FAFO Cliff”

Yeah, it's a tough choice for stuff like that, especially when you want to have pretty advanced planning. Put it off, and with Trump intent on crashing the dollar, it'll make the trip more expensive in the future. But then on the other side, Trump seems intent on bringing back high unemployment, so you don't want to have a large, optional cash outlay in the event of a sour economy.

Shorts at NYT:

Roiled House:
Speaker Mike Johnson said he would shut the House down early for the summer on Wednesday to forestall Democrats’ calls for votes for greater transparency into the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, the sex offender who died in federal custody in 2019. The early break will come as several Republicans on the House Oversight Committee back a motion to subpoena Mr. Epstein’s longtime partner, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Lashing out: With his administration facing intense scrutiny over the Epstein investigation, President Trump lashed out against his political opponents, going as far as accusing former President Barack Obama of treason. Mr. Trump was once friends with Mr. Epstein, and he has deployed a distract-and-deflect strategy in response to questions about the case. The baseless accusation against Mr. Obama prompted a rare response from the former president’s office, calling Mr. Trump’s claims “ridiculous” and “weak.”

Lol! ... Trump claims he will lower drug prices by as much as 1400%

Trump Uinversity economics. This should save the average American about Elevenishy Zillion dollars. Not surprising since he thinks health insurance costs $1 per month

Dementia is not something you get better from folks. It's as if he doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about. Time for a diaper change and a nap Grandpa

These Epstein distractions keep getting more ridiculous. How's about "The Epstein Center for underage girls"?

JFKs name is getting replaced by a Slovenian migrant who came/worked here "illegally" and got auctioned by Epstein to Trump on the Lolita Express? The first opera house to install a stripper pole center stage and have it turned into a brothel.

They won't be happy until they soil every part of this country. Remember folks, it is definitely not a cult!

Yes, that's an interesting perspective. I've never been comfortable with the "cult" claim on the so-called POtuS. He's actually a human wrecking ball. Explains his obsession with gold. He's got the Midas touch in reverse, the Sadim touch. Everything he touches turns to shit.
