In many ways this is the goal, where the law ceases to be an independent source of authority and it all comes down to power. Not too hard to argue that after the immunity ruling this has already happened.

They knew this during the 1/6 coup attempt as well, that’s why they were discussing the insurrection act. They anticipated riots and protests in response and so were planning on using the military to crush them.

We’ve all but stopped eating eggs. I was consuming a dozen in 2 days for the protein , mostly whites, but chicken was already cheaper and now it’s not even close. We have one egg left in the fridge and it’s for pancakes this coming weekend

I'm old enough, that all four of my grandparents came from the farm, I mean I should say escaped from the farm. None of them had fond memories of the farm. My great Uncle Martin was a bachelor basically because was slave labor for his dad (my great grandfather from Germany). It sort of worked out for him, he sold the old farm in Chantilly, VA for part of Dulles Airport. He turned around and just bought another farm with the money, cause that's all he knew.
