Sounds like something the FedSoc came up with that when argued in court the judge is probably going to ask you if you are medically unwell.
I mean it makes zero logical sense but as we've discovered in recent years that's not always enough to stop this shit. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump's position gets at least two votes at SCOTUS. Maybe three.

Alito and Thomas at least for sure. The rest of the court I kinda doubt it. Lopping off big important parts of the constitution because Donald Trump says so seems like a one way ticket to The Cool Zone. Which can end quite unpredictably for such people.

I interpret this as block grants to the states with no oversight from the feds, you know, graft.

Sure but like Medicaid block grants the goal is going to be to reduce overall spending instead of giving FL whatever money it needs because three major hurricanes strike in a season. Even better if the state government simply steals the money and uses it for other things and they have empty pockets when it happens.

Also people should take a gander at where the tomatoes come from.
In my case, I grow all the tomatoes I use for 6 months of the year here in N. California. The other 6 months all the tomatoes I eat are either the tomatoes I canned during my growing season (hot sauce or Italian sauce) or Costco bought case of Kirkland brand organic canned Roma tomatoes grown in California.

Lol his new FEMA would only service Florida and maybe Texas. He’d ignore all other states even ruby red ones

any raids in any red states?

Know that stuff is happing out in the Central Valley. Would expect localities that share his goals to take the most initiative which will be in red areas and red states.

Just read of ICE raids at homeless shelters in NYC and also at a store in Jersey City. Unconfirmed but from those in those areas.

Listening in to another wife work call with the agency her firm works with. The agency is basically telling private contractors “please sue us” so that projects/funding and staff can continue to work under a court order. The employees of the agencies themselves can’t sue their employers due to GAO policy/precedent, but private contractors have standing to sue based on performance requirements written into the contracts.

What a crazy world when your customer is asking to be sued.

WTF? What kind of proof of citizenship do homeless people carry? Going after homeless people smells like a purge of “undesirables”?
Uh... yeah? That's kind of what a lot of people have been predicting for quite some time now?

The admin has ordered federal employees to snitch on their coworkers who are secretly being DEI.

Pretty soon Trump will offer free lottery tickets for every neighbor you turn in for talking bad about him.

It sure would be a shame if people were to start flooding the email address they’ve set up with spam. Oh, wait! so it begins!
