It's switching images.
I covered everything but her head and just watched her braid. She was going clockwise.
left right left right left right left right left right left right left right left right right left right left right left. Her hair never kept going around. It stopped and went back to the right and began circling the other way.

It's real and it works. I looked at the gif and each frame is legit. Plus, once you figure it out you can make it go back and forth.

I think she tilts on her "axis", and that helps your mind flip from counter to clockwise and vice versa.

Also, the silhouette has nipples. My browser froze at just the right second, and for some reason my eyes happened to be looking there, and there they were.

Ha. The browser "froze". I made a THO funny.

I've been testing it, by sitting and watching and seeing it go the other way...and then I am clicking in and out of the website to see if she is going in different directions when I go back into the site...and she seems to just be at random times going one way and then the other..I'm not sure how you train your eye to make her go one way or the other

Ive had it up for over a half hour, and shes been spinning the same direction the whole time, so it definitely isnt a hoax.

oh man thats crazy. I was kinda wierded out when everytime I blinked she would be spinning in the other direction.

I got it so I can have switch back and forth before she does a full rotation, just watch the sweep of the leg. "Sweep the leg Johnny!"

ok than I'm just weird cuz sometimes I see her spinning one way and sometimes the other without focusing lol

If you look at her foot and the moment it gets to a point where it is perpendicularly left, pretend it's comming towards you instead of going away or vice versa.

WHY CANT I GET IT????

You're not alone. I just had 2 joints and she is still spinning clockwise. She DID turn a real nice yellow color though.

All I see is counter-clockwise. How do you see it any other way?
</end quote></div>
I imagined the leg as a pendulum going back and forth on a 2-D plane. I was able to will it to change after that.</end quote></div>

I'm starting to get it now. A lot of the illusion depends on whether you perceive outstretched leg to be in front of or behind the other leg on a given rotation. While you're watching the leg rotate in front you can "decide" that it's actually behind and the illusion reverses.

That's what did it for me. Cool.

Freakin' weird. I had my wife look at it at the same time I was looking at it, and she said she saw her spinning CC and I saw her spinning clockwise. Weird.

wow that's pretty neat. at first i only saw it counter clockwise. then i stared at the shasow of her feet and saw her going clockwise. neat!

With a little practice, you can see her spinning back and forth like a pendulum, rather than in full circles.

Don't see anything but a clockwise rotation...and I stared for at least a minute. Nice silhouette for sure! 😀

You guys saying "Yeah, I see the counter-clockwise rotation of the left ear but not the right foot" must be smoking wacky weed. Oh wait...most of you are. 😛
