Cash? That's always a bad idea with places like this. Cash should mostly be used for grocery shopping and gas. When it comes to electronics and OBVIOUSLY incompetent employees you should always use credit since the CC will guarantee your purchases. Had you used a CC you could have simply called them and had them reverse the charges. That way Frys wouldn't get any money (or they'd have to solve the problem).

At this point you need to go through corporate. I hope you got all thier names. To refuse you a refund because they made a typo is completley assinine. Anybody with real authority will see this immediately.

I would have gone ape-$hiz on them. I do agree that Fry's employs a bunch of incompetent morons not suitable for the job (or any job). I remember I went with my friend to buy a stick of RAM and the salesman kept trying to sell us this generic no-name brand that costed more than the Kingston Value-RAM that they had for less. I asked him why we should buy that over Kingston and he couldn't give me an answer and just rang up the cost for the RAM. What an idiot!
