:( THATS why we're in Afghanistan and Iraq people.

Thats right, and anyone that can say both are a mistake and listen to that without feeling anything and still think we shouldn't be there. in my mind are close to the same kind of people that caused this.

very chilling 911 call. like others have said, damn

Iraq had nothing, whatsoever, even in the most indirect sense, to do with 9/11. I am an Operating Enduring Freedom vet and I was proud to serve in a combat zone in prosecution of the war in Afghanistan. That said, I'd say the people who use the rage they feel at a tape like this to rationalize an offensive war with a completely unrelated country is closer to the people who caused this than any anti-war true believer.

This tape is really awful, heartbreaking actually. RIP, Mr. Cosgrove.

I think I'm going to have to bring up a point that Dijobi made a while back:

Why even post something like this? Everyone knows what happens, it doesn't teach you anything, it just makes people feel bad. Of course people are going to have a morbid curiousity and watch it, then they'll feel like absolute sh** after seeing it.

I know what happened that day, but I don't need to hear some poor man's agony in realtime.

Use some restraint please.

The pro-war folks started the political talk, in all fairness.

What do politics have to do with a man dying?

He said there were broken windows. If the building tilted, and they were on that side, do you think they fell out of the windows?

He said they were on the 105th floor, that's above were the plane impacted.

They didn't experience the floor going out underneath them, the felt the building starting to tilt.

No.

The floors gave out around where the impact occurred. The way he was yelling sure as hell suggested a lot more than the building being tilted. Something was happening, and happening fast.

I feel so sad for all the firefighters too...who willingly ran up there to rescue all the people that were trapped. What courage

Yeah man, I wasn't ready for that.

I wonder if the family has heard it? Bad enough that we heard anyone going through that, but if it were someone in my family I'd be haunted for life.
