OMG I am SO tempted

I'd never do it, nice car for sure but just to old and I could use that money towards a house or something of that nature.
 
The early 80's 308's are probably the least desirable Ferraris ever made. The Magnum PI publicity raised sales, so they're not collectors items. They're not reliable, not all that fast by todays standards, don't handle well by todays standards and IMHO are among the ugliest Ferrari's ever made. If you're looking for a $40,000 toy get a Vette that's a couple of years old. It'll smoke the Ferrari in every performance category, look good while doing it and be far cheaper to maintain.

That may all be true, however it depends what your goal/purpose of the car is. I've seen a ton of corvettes around, I see VERY few Ferraris. If you want to turn heads and make people say, "wow, what was that, a ferrari?" then this will work. Do you really think 90% of the population (not too mention 99% of the female population) really care about how fast a car is? It's all in the looks and the uniqueness of it.
