EE, i don't want to be anything for a career, so i picked something that would provide moderate income.

honestly, i can't think of anything i'd want to do for the rest of my life for 8 hours a day.
 
You could also have jobs like Jamie Hyneman:

I did it for a year, even in a relatively stimulating environment.... it still blows. I'm back in Grad school already.
 
Life after college sucks. I cannot even get a part time job, let alone a full time job.

It sucks b/c everyone tells you that in order to have an enjoyable life, you have to go to college and do good. Instead, i see that all my friends who dropped out of colege are having more fun than me. I knew i should have threw my books out and picked up the guitar.

see, you HAD something in mind that you wanted to do, right? but now can't find a job in it. so i don't have something i want to do, but i have a job. both are fairly shitty.
 
Everyone will tell you that you should do something you enjoy, but even doing something you enjoy for 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week, 48+ weeks of the year gets old. Life after college is mostly a grind until retirement. Then you're so worn out, you can't even enjoy it. The key is to make a ridiculous amount of money early and retire young.
