Sorry, but can somebody clarify the 52x internal Cendyne RW rebates?

Will Office Max accept the 56x external rebate (which is #25P)? If it is accepted, then what can I do so that that they won't deny it later on?

About the UPC issue, both the Manufacturer's rebate and the Office Max rebate require the original UPC codes to be sent. What can I do to solve this issue? I can make a copy and send it to Office Max, but what can I do so that they also won't deny it later on?

gujuguy007 - for the Cendyne 52x internal rebate send a copy of the OM Quick Reference sheet (see the original post for a link to it) along with all the other rebate junk you'll send in.

As for the UPC question, the general consensus is to send a copy of the UPC for the OM rebates. The rebate form does not say copies are OK, so be prepared to call later and battle. It would be wise to include a note in the OM rebate submission that there was another (manufacturer) rebate at the same time and the manufacturer needed the original UPC.

Some people that ordered after I did said that the Hard Drive showed in stock for them, but when I ordered it said CBO... does that mean that since I oredered first, and it was in stock for people that ordered after I did, I will get a HD?

dude, the hard drive is not in stock! it may show up on the HD page, but once you're ready to checkout and you go to the "review order" step, it will show a big fat CBO

It showed in stock for me. I ordered one and the final page showed the item as OPN. Total came to $130.28 for me.

2) Yes, OMAX stock availability is regional. What's IN STOCK in one part of the country may be OOS in another (i.e. WD HDD).

Yes I very much understand that, but it still doesnt get to my question which is, it was out of stock when I ordered, but then came back into stock IN MY REGION. Will my order get fuliflled before say, someone who orders it now, or do I still sit on backorder while someone who ordered it while it was shown as in stock LATER than me, gets it?

I suspect your order will be fulfilled first as you placed your order first, regardless of whether yours showed CBO while somebody else's (in the SAME REGION) showed OPN; however, don't quote me on that.

Alright, thanks. I doubted anyone would know this for sure, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I thought it might be possible that someone would know how the ordering system works at OM.. ill just relax now and see how it truns out.

Looks like the OMAX 2003_07 "BTS" rebates haven't yet been posted on-line. Hopefully they'll be there within the next few days.

Well, looks like AS USUAL, this deal will be impossible to get because of the low stock they carry. I hate officemax this is probably the 5th time this has happened. If it doesn't come through this time, I won't be doing business with them again

Because of the above post, I wasted my two hours today only to buy this phone at 49.99 + tax at Chicago (Evanston). They had a few in stock ,,, and the Item searc for #20434665 indicated that it was 49.99. Still I went ahead and checked it out .... hoping that probably the discount would show during scanning. .... well nothing at all ... I'll go ahead and return it tomorrow (I didn't do it today because the officemax guy spent 10 minutes looking for this phone for me).

The $10 discount is still valid ... since it is the same phone as specified on the rebate form ..... BUT WHAT A BUMMER!
