oldsmoboat: I seem to remember reading that you sold it quite a bit ago, correct? Parts for the jet and fuel for the 455 would be very expensive and hard to find now. I had a friend who got one in '95 - for a good deal. The first time something broke, he had to bend way over to get it running so he could sell it.

Heh-heh...yeah they were. More or less a poor-man's Cadillac.
My step-dad's uncle bought a brand new Olds 98 every year. It was rare that he got 12,000 miles on the odometer before he traded it in.
(for youse youngsters, all auto warranties used to be 12 months/12,000 miles)
my grandma had an oldsmobile.
it was a boat.
That's what I always thought of when I first discovered oldsmoboat on ATOT, then I learned he had a boat.
This thread has updated that knowledge by adding that the boat has an Olds engine in it.
