One of his song's always cracks me up: Tiny Dancer.

Picture this, if you will, an overty homosexual man and what body part he may be fascinated with. Then, look at the lyrics to "Tiny Dancer". Let me quote you some:
Blue jean baby
pirate smile
tiny dancer in my hand
Piano man he makes his stand
But oh how it feels so real
Hold me closer tiny dancer
Lay me down in sheets of linen
you had a busy day today
Blue jean baby
pirate smile,
always with me,
tiny dancer in my hand
What sort of object of desire would be within blue jeans? Would that object have an unusual smile? Would Elton like that object to dance in his hands? Would it make a stand? Would it feel so real? Would Elton want to hold it closer, in those sheets of linen? Would that dancing be a busy activity? Again, what is that tiny dancer in his hands?

I disliked Elton for the first 30 years of my life and then a few years ago, I just really started to dig him. He's an amazing singer/songwriter/piano player. Never seen him live but heard he puts on a great show.

Nothing gay about listening to a great musician unless you're a grown man and you have a poster of Elton over your bed.:D

No what's more worrisome is the fact that you would be concerned how you feel about liking a particular artist or genre. I find it amazing that people will listen to certain music ONLY with privacy - either through earspeakers or when no one else is around. And if someone comes into the room they immediately turn it off - like they were busted for spanking something.

I sorta do that with bluegrass - it's not that I don't want people to know, because I'm fine with that, but lots of people don't like it so I don't bother them with it. I figure it's rude to play music that not everyone present likes.

Unless I'm in my car. My car my tunes, that's how it works.
