well obviously your not in NorCal... :)

Go SoCal...move to San Diego, i think its the best city in cali

are you kidding? NorCal >>> SoCal...less smog, more than just brown hills, not as hot.

California has some really nice areas, and some really crappy areas. It's still one of the better states, geography-wise.

SoCal >>> NorCal!!! :|:p

norcal can get too cold.

hehe anyways, I lived in California all my life. It's arguably the best place to live in the US. hehehe *runs*

Quaint little 3 bedroom, 1.75 bath (that's just 1 full bath) home here in SoCal.

Not enough bathrooms? Get 1/2 a bathroom more. 3 bedroom, 2.25 bath

Edit:

1 more for you, in case you don't need 3 rooms:

2 bedroom, 2.5 bath... Can you guess the price?

.... Single Family Property ....
yikes! Maybe for Britney Spears and her trailerpark groom

EDIT:
Estimated payment:
$14,710 Per Month*

uhm, that's me buying a new car/truck each month for the next 20 years.

there are reasons that the home prices are so high: climate, natural beauty and jobs.

also, if you look at home prices i doubt that there has been a 10 year block of time in which the prices went down. so yeah, they cost a lot, but you look at it like an investment. sure you can buy a mansion in po-dunk nebraska for $100,000, but what's it going to be worth in 10 years? $100,000.

I counter that SoCal can (does) get too hot. Really it's just a question of preference, I like my temperatures between 60-80, you probably prefer 70-90 or so. Basically, just move up or down the pacific coast until you get the temperature you like ;)

Check out the estimated payment on the 2 bedroom place:

Estimated payment:
$32,064 Per Month*

*That's on the assumption that you put $1,389,800 as downpayment on a 30 year jumbo at 5.6%.

My cousin lost his shirt on a place in Thousand Oaks back in the early 90s. Real Estate isn't always a safe investment, especially in areas prone ot outrageous prices (like much of California).

I was just in the Palos Verdes area this weekend and must say the views are gorgeous. It overlooks the Pacific Ocean and has a nice view of Catalina Island.

Just don't steal anything :D

Picking up the used kleenex that sounds your computer chair would be classified as hazardous waste removal, not cleaning :)

They don't.

You will see a record number of foreclosures in the southern california area within the next 5 years.
